我生堕地时，太婆七十五。明年阿弟生，弟兄日争乳。
太婆向母怀，伸手抱儿去。从此不离开，一日百摩抚。

发乱为梳头，脚腻为暖汤。东市买脂粉，靧面日生香。
头上盘云髻，耳后明月珰。红裙绛罗襦，事事女儿妆。
牙牙初学语，教诵《月光光》。一读一背诵，清如新炙簧。
三岁甫学步，送儿上学堂。知儿故畏怯，戒师莫严庄。
将出牵衣送，未归踦闾望。问讯日百回，赤足足奔忙。
春秋多佳日，亲戚尽团聚。双手擎掌珠，百口百称誉。
我家七十人，诸子爱渠祖。诸妇爱渠娘，诸孙爱渠父。
因裙便惜带，将缣难比素。老人性偏爱，不顾人笑侮。
邻里向我笑，老人爱不差。果然好相貌，艳艳如莲花。
诸母背我骂，健犊行破车。上树不停脚，偷芋信手爬。
昨日探鹊巢，一跌败两牙。噀血喷满壁，盘礴画龙蛇。
兄妹昵我言，向婆乞金钱。真倾紫荷囊，滚地金铃圆。
爷娘附我耳，幼婆要加餐。金盘脍鲤鱼，果为儿下咽。
伯叔牵我手，心知不相干。故故摩儿顶，要图老人欢。
儿年九岁时，阿爷报登科。剑儿大父傍，一语三摩挲。
此儿生属猴，聪明较猴多。雏鸡比老鸡，异时知如何？
我病又老耄，情知不坚牢。风吹儿不长，那见儿扶摇。
待儿胜冠时，看儿能夺标。他年上我墓，相携著宫袍。
前行张罗伞，后行鸣鼓箫。猪鸡与花果，一一分肩挑。
爆竹响墓背，墓前纸钱烧。手捧紫泥封，云是夫人诰。
子孙共罗拜，焚香向神告。儿今幸胜贵，颇如母所料。
世言鬼无知，我定开口笑。大父回顾儿，此言儿熟记。
一年记一年，儿齿加长矣。儿是孩提心，那知太婆事。
但就儿所见，依稀记一二。太婆每出人，笼东拄一杖。
后来杖挂壁，时见垂帷帐。夜夜携儿眠，呼娘搔背䖹。
展转千挞腰，殷殷春雷响。佛前灯尚明，窗隙见月上。
大父搴帘来，欢笑时鼓掌。琐屑及乡邻，讥诃到官长。
每将野人语，眩作鬼魅状。太婆悄不应，便知婆欲睡。
户枢徐徐关，移踵车轮曳。明朝阿娘来，奉匜为盥洗。
欲饭爷捧盘，欲羹娘进匕。大父出迎医，覼缕讲脉理。
咀嚼分尝药，斟酌共量水。自儿有知识，日日见此事。
几年举场忙，几年绝域使。忽忽三十年，光阴迅弹指。
今日来拜墓，儿既须满嘴。儿今年四十，大父七十九。
所喜颇聪强，容颜类如旧。周山看松柏，不要携杖走。
拜跪不须扶，未觉躬伛偻。挂珠碧霞犀，犹是母所授。
绣补炫锦鸡，新自粤西购。一手搴颔髭，一手振袍袖。
打鼓唱迎神，红毡齐泥首。上头艺红香，中间酌黄酒。
青箬苞黍粽，紫丝络莲藕。大父在前跪，诸孙跪在后。
森森排竹笋，依依伏杨柳。新妇外曾孙，是婆定昏媾。
阿端年始冠，昨年已取妇。随兄擎腰扇，阿和亦十五。
长樛次当孙，此皆我儿女。青青秀才衣，两弟名谁某。
少者新簪花，捧觞前拜手。次第别后先，提抱集贱幼。
一家尽偕来，只恨不见母。母在婆最怜，刻不离左右。
今日母魂灵，得依太婆否？树静风不停，草长春不留。
世人尽痴心，乞年拜北斗。百年那可求，所愿得中寿。
谓儿报婆恩，此事难开口。求母如婆年，儿亦奉养久。
儿今便有孙，不得母爱怜。爱怜尚不得，那论贤不贤。
上羡大父福，下伤吾母年。吁嗟无母人，悠悠者苍天！

黄遵宪（1848年4月27日～1905年3月28日）晚清诗人，外交家、政治家、教育家。字公度，别号人境庐主人，汉族客家人，广东省梅州人，光绪二年举人，历充师日参赞、旧金山总领事、驻英参赞、新加坡总领事，戊戌变法期间署湖南按察使，助巡抚陈宝箴推行新政。工诗，喜以新事物熔铸入诗，有“诗界革新导师”之称。黄遵宪有《人镜庐诗草》、《日本国志》、《日本杂事诗》。被誉为“近代中国走向世界第一人”。
