译文
歌女歌唱时动作举止从容，落落大方。她的歌声有时高亢嘹亮，经久不息；有时又轻柔圆润，如百琲明珠缠绵不绝。
歌女唇如樱桃，齿如白玉，她美妙的嗓子发出的仙音，天上的行云都停留下来了，宴会中满座的与宴者都已如痴如醉。
注释
减字木兰花：唐教坊曲，后用为词牌名，又名减兰。
歌檀敛袂：此句写女子歌唱时的动作。歌檀（tán）：边拍檀板边唱歌。敛袂（mèi）：卷起衣服袖子。
‘‘缭绕”句：渲染女子歌声清越和悠长，余音绕梁不绝的特点。语出以下二典。
百琲（bèi）明珠：十贯或五百枚珠子为一琲。
樱唇玉齿：唇如樱桃，齿如白玉，此形容美人唇齿之美。
留往行云：此喻女子歌技之高，歌声之美。
迷魂：被歌声陶醉。醺（xūn）：醉。

此词主要表现歌女高超的歌艺和动听的歌声。
上片“歌檀敛袂”，写的是歌女开始演唱前的动作，她稍稍敛折好衣袖，轻轻拍打下檀板。“缭绕雕梁尘暗起”，这里分别用了传说中两位著名的歌者的典故：一是韩娥余音绕梁三日不绝，一是虞公高亢清越之音震动梁上灰尘。词人借此突出写这位歌女歌唱时所产生的艺术效果。接下来，词人又用一比喻写歌声的婉转圆润。“百琲明珠一线穿”，她的歌声就像数百串明珠串在一起，既悠长又圆润。

欧阳修（1007－1072），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”。汉族，吉州永丰（今江西省永丰县）人，因吉州原属庐陵郡，以“庐陵欧阳修”自居。谥号文忠，世称欧阳文忠公。北宋政治家、文学家、史学家，与韩愈、柳宗元、王安石、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩合称“唐宋八大家”。后人又将其与韩愈、柳宗元和苏轼合称“千古文章四大家”。
