笑笑你真是一个杰出不群的可爱的人，不妨多多地开口笑一笑，只要你开口一笑，就能使满座生春。
唱到让人皱眉时你却面带微笑，醉到让人坐起喧哗时又微皱眉头。无论是皱眉还是发笑都合人心意。
注释
浣溪沙：词牌名。唐玄宗时教坊曲名，后用为词调。一作“浣溪纱”，又名“浣沙溪》”“小庭花”等。双调四十二字，平韵格。
子文：即严焕，乾道二年（1166）至五年（1169）通判建康府，与辛弃疾同官。侍人：侍女，侍妾。
侬：你。江浙一带方言称“你”为“侬”。嶔（qīn）崎：本是指山的高峻，此喻人骨鲠俊拔，杰出不群。《晋书·桓彝传》：“桓彝字茂伦，雅为周顗所重。顗尝叹曰：‘茂伦嵚崎历落，固可笑人也。’”笑：这里是喜爱、羡慕之意。《诗词曲语辞汇释》：“笑，欣羡之辞。与嘲笑之义别。”
坐：自然，自然而然地。一说通“座”，指在座的人。生春：使人欢喜，让人高兴。
颦（pín）：谓皱眉。
宜：合适，适当，适宜。

浣溪沙·赠子文侍人名笑笑创作背景
此词作于宋孝宗乾道四年（1168）或五年（1169）辛弃疾任建康通判时，是辛弃疾在同僚严子文的家宴上，赠给严子文一位名叫“笑笑”的侍姬的调侃之作。

浣溪沙·赠子文侍人名笑笑鉴赏
此词具有一种潜在的思想力量。上片称赞严子文侍女不同流俗，才貌出众，频频发笑，满座粲然，不断带来欢乐和活力。首句用吴语“侬”称呼侍姬，所谓“吴侬软语”，想必这一位侍姬是吴人，“侬”是她的家乡话。作者用“桓彝嵚崎历落”这个典故来形容侍女，这就等于说这位叫“笑笑”的侍女，竟是一位杰出不群的值得钦佩的伟丈夫式的人物。这作为对一个侍女的歌颂，确实有点不伦不类。这当然不是作者没词了，不懂得用典而胡乱比附。以他这样一位写起词来“如春云浮空，卷舒起灭，随所变态，无非可观”的大家，不可能不懂用典，更何况他“其秾丽绵密处，亦不在小晏、秦郎之下”，为女人作艳语，原也当行。那么就只有从文字的本意来理解了。这就是说笑笑一定有其不凡之处，所以作者才会许之以如茂伦那样的嶔崎历落，可钦可羡之人。古时侍姬，固多不凡。如张愔之关盼盼，石崇之绿珠，但那还多是忠于故主而已。而这里的笑笑，可惜没有留下更多的记载，其主既未故，那无妨反求之于辛弃疾所钦羡的事物。辛弃疾此时在建康作一行政之副职，且是“添差之员”，形同虚设。以如此之壮年，抱一腔热血而来的盛气之英雄，仅给这样一个冷板凳坐，其心情之抑郁是可想而知的了。所以他在这同一时期作的《满江红》中就说：“笑人世苍然无物。”他对于主和派掌权的这个朝廷，认之为无人，也是理所当然的。对满朝公卿将相视之为“无物”的辛弃疾，却以“嶔崎可笑”许一侍姬，以这些猥琐的须眉作衬，则红粉之磊落也就非常形象、可以感触的了。
下片写笑笑的颦笑。她“歌欲颦时还浅笑”，让人舒心；“醉逢笑处却轻颦”，使人清醒。南宋小朝廷是一个萎靡世界。在这时，每一个有良心的人，歌时应当是痛苦的，但这还是一般的感情。而她却于痛苦中反要浅笑。这不是写她麻木不仁，不是写她纵情欢笑，而是说她在本来欲颦之处，却发出了“浅笑”。这就透露了她这笑含有凄伤之情。这无法或不屑纵声的“浅笑”，只能是嘴角那苦苦的一撇，是冷然的微哂，是欲笑不得之强颜。总之它是内心痛苦之极的一种反态。长歌当哭，它是比哭更凄惨得多的。是以当别人快乐地喝醉了酒，作出种种丑态时，她却又不由地皱起了眉头，一股讨厌鄙弃之情溢于眉宇。这一颦一笑之间，就把她那种高傲的秉性，活脱脱地写了出来。正如屈原之“众人皆醉而我独醒”一样，她是很有点不同流俗而别具慧心的。这两句词中也可以看出笑笑的杰出之所在。在那样的社会里，竟有这样一位不趋炎附势、不同流合污，反而很有点脱俗超凡的女子，的确令人高兴，无怪乎作者要由衷地赞叹她“宜颦宜笑越精神”了。颦其所颦而笑其所笑，是以曰“宜”。那么这个“精神”就不单是指她那一种女性的美的外露，而更是指她一颦一笑所表现出来的高尚的精神境界。
从这里可以看到辛弃疾对于这一种傲态的钦佩，无此傲态作为底色，则轻颦浅笑，都显轻薄，徒见其不“宜”了。那么由此可见：笑笑的颦笑，定与抗战派的思想感情合拍，这固然是当时广大人民的普遍意愿，也不排斥她就是因坚持抗战而获罪以作奴婢的家属。因而她的见解很合乎辛弃疾的思想，所以才有“一笑坐生春”的感觉。可以想象得到：他们在此家宴中高谈阔论，笑笑时发如花妙语，说得那样中听，有助豪情，使人感到周身舒畅。故此作者对于的“开口笑时频”寄予了那样真挚而热烈的感情。当此之时，酒酣耳热，小小天地尽是他们主战派的世界，更难得的是，红粉居然知己，所以就更感到她越笑越精神，她此时，已完全不是一个歌舞妓，而直是他不能不钦佩的嶔崎历落的大丈夫了。
这阕《浣溪沙》词虽是赠妓调笑之作，全篇俳谐有趣，但决不是纯粹的无聊文字，那怕是从仅仅不小瞧侍姬这类卑贱的小女子这一点，也可以看出辛弃疾的不凡。他把一位侍女抬高到了这样高的地位，这就完全不是庸俗的捧角儿，而是他把对于祖国的热爱看得高于一切，用以衡量一切：谁不爱国，谁不维护国家的统一，虽卿相君主，他亦视为“无物”；而赞成国家统一的，则虽歌妓侍女，也可以许之为“嶔崎历落”之人。从这个侧面，令人又看到了辛弃疾对于祖国有着无比深挚的感情。也正是这种爱国主义的感情，使得他颠倒了对于大人物和奴婢尊卑的陈腐见解，从而具备了进步的立场。

辛弃疾（1140－1207），南宋词人。原字坦夫，改字幼安，别号稼轩，汉族，历城（今山东济南）人。出生时，中原已为金兵所占。21岁参加抗金义军，不久归南宋。历任湖北、江西、湖南、福建、浙东安抚使等职。一生力主抗金。曾上《美芹十论》与《九议》，条陈战守之策。其词抒写力图恢复国家统一的爱国热情，倾诉壮志难酬的悲愤，对当时执政者的屈辱求和颇多谴责；也有不少吟咏祖国河山的作品。题材广阔又善化用前人典故入词，风格沉雄豪迈又不乏细腻柔媚之处。由于辛弃疾的抗金主张与当政的主和派政见不合，后被弹劾落职，退隐江西带湖。
