译文
村子里的父老们都争先恐后地对我说，今年风调雨顺，一定会有一个好收成，他们不会再像去年那样紧锁眉头地发愁了，也不会再愁无米下锅，而让甑子积满着灰尘。
树枝上的鸟儿欢快地啼叫着，像是在劝我多喝几杯，桃树的嫩枝上已经绽出娇艳的花朵，十分逗人喜爱。梨花开满树，那白色的花朵，像是给它新添了一头白发。
注释
浣溪沙：唐代教坊曲名，后用为词牌。分平仄两体，字数以四十二字居多，还有四十四字和四十六字两种。这首词是平韵，四十二字。
匀：这里指雨量适时适度。
颦（pín）：皱眉。
殷勤：态度热切。谢：告别。却：语助词，用在动词之后。甑（zèng）：瓦制炊具，可以用于蒸饭。“甑中尘”谓无米下炊，甑中积满尘土。暗示的是去年歉收。
撩（líao）：引逗，挑弄，招惹。
小桃：即桃树。
无赖：顽皮，淘气。
白头新：白色的新花。《史记·鲁仲连邹阳列传》：“白头如新，倾盖如故。”梨花色白，故以“白头”喻之。

浣溪沙·父老争言雨水匀创作背景
南宋爱国词人辛弃疾，他以收复失地、统一祖国为己任，鞠躬尽瘁，死而后已。然而，他却于中年蒙受谗劾。庆元六年（1200），在瓢泉边，田园的恬静和村民的质朴使得辛弃疾深为感动，灵感翻飞，于是写下了这首词。

浣溪沙·父老争言雨水匀鉴赏
这首词写风调雨顺的好年景给人们带来的欣喜变化。
上片写人，喜悦之情溢于言表。“父老争言雨水匀，眉头不似去年颦。”村中的父老们争相谈论着今年的雨水是多么均匀，丰收在望，他们的眉头不再像去年那般愁苦不展了。古时农业生产技术落后，基本上是靠天吃饭，今年雨水均匀，风调雨顺，预示着将有一个好的收成，这让村中父老愁眉得展，喜上眉梢，争相告诉做客村中的词人。现在连饱经世事沧桑的老人们眉头都得以舒展，可以想见去年他们是怎样熬过那样荒歉的年头的。这里“争”字用得极为传神，写出了父老们的喜气洋洋状。因为雨水均匀，所以父老的眉头才“不似去年颦”。次句紧承首句之“争言”二字，进一步刻写父老的欣喜状，涵蕴丰富。它暗示了去年的收成有多么糟糕。而“不似”二字，更让人于欣喜中感觉到了他们心中的一丝隐忧，细腻地刻画出村民们在遭受去年的那个荒歉年头后的心有余悸状。“殷勤谢却甑中尘。”现在人们在满怀深情地清洗着蒸食器具上的灰尘。甑上布满灰尘，是因为没有粮食可蒸煮的缘故。“甑中尘”照应次句之“去年颦”，因为去年收成不好，无食可煮，所以甑上生尘，如今村民殷勤除尘，表明今年光景已有所改观。而村民殷勤清洗甑这种一般不常用的炊具，又寓示着家里来了客人，需要设酒作食，隆重款待，从而引出下文。
下片以景衬情，情景交融。“啼鸟有时能劝客，小桃无赖已撩人。”清脆的鸟鸣声有时真能把客人劝住不走，园中娇小可爱的满树桃子早已把人撩拔得谗涎欲滴。村中父老殷勤待客，这令词人非常感动，于是便以啼鸟能劝客这种方式将其含蓄地表现出来。此二句一写听觉，一写视觉，声情并茂，通过状写春景来烘托出村中父老待客的热情及其丰收在望的喜悦之情。“有时”二字，暗示了这种好年景并非年年都有，因而啼鸟只是有时能劝客，词人当然会为村民们这来之不易的丰收年景感到了格外高兴。小桃无所谓“无赖”与否，更不会撩拔逗引人，称其“无赖已撩人”正是词人快意心情的传神写照。小桃撩人，这是前面雨水均匀所致。小桃犹能如此，收获时节的大桃的诱人景象也就可想而知了。“梨花也作白头新。”这里“白头”既是词人自喻已经衰老，又照应了前之“父老”。词人移情于景，此时的梨花也一同前来助兴，从而使整个画面更焕发出了无限的生机。“白头新”三字，语意双关，既是写花，更是写人，可以想见出白发苍苍的词人看到村中丰收在望的情景精神为之一振的情状。
词中流露出山野民风之淳厚及待客之浓情。全篇叙事晓畅，意境清新，承接缜密，环环相扣，情韵悠长，堪称佳作。

辛弃疾（1140－1207），南宋词人。原字坦夫，改字幼安，别号稼轩，汉族，历城（今山东济南）人。出生时，中原已为金兵所占。21岁参加抗金义军，不久归南宋。历任湖北、江西、湖南、福建、浙东安抚使等职。一生力主抗金。曾上《美芹十论》与《九议》，条陈战守之策。其词抒写力图恢复国家统一的爱国热情，倾诉壮志难酬的悲愤，对当时执政者的屈辱求和颇多谴责；也有不少吟咏祖国河山的作品。题材广阔又善化用前人典故入词，风格沉雄豪迈又不乏细腻柔媚之处。由于辛弃疾的抗金主张与当政的主和派政见不合，后被弹劾落职，退隐江西带湖。
