憔悴天涯，故人相遇情如故。别离何遽。忍唱阳关句。
我是行人，更送行人去。愁无据。寒蝉鸣处。回首斜阳暮。
点绛唇·途中逢管倅鉴赏
“别离何遽，忍唱《阳关》句！”久别重逢后却要分离，那种苦痛是难以表达的。他联想起王维《送元二使安西》中“西出阳关无故人”的著名诗句。后来以此诗谱入乐府，名《阳关曲》，为送别之歌。但作者此时连唱《阳关》的心情也没了，为什么呢？因为他是客中送别，比王维居长安送友人西行时还更多了一层愁苦。因此，这两句很自然地过渡到下片，引出“我是行人，更送行人去”的喟叹了。
“愁无据。寒蝉鸣处，回首斜阳暮。”这无边无际的愁苦，该怎样形容呢？词人巧妙地将它融入于景物描写之中，用凄切的寒蝉和暗淡的夕阳光将它侧面烘托出来。“寒蝉鸣”为声，“斜阳暮”为色；前者作用于听觉，后者作用于视觉。这样通过声色交互而引起读者诸种感觉的移借，派生出无穷无尽的韵味来。
纪昀评赵彦端《介庵词》说：“多婉约纤秾，不愧作者。”（《四库全书总目提要》卷一九八）但此词婉约而不“纤秾”，通篇未用一纤秾词语，仅用的“阳关”一典也为一般读者所熟知；不失为一首风格淡雅而兼委曲的好词。

赵彦端（1121~1175）字德庄，号介庵，汴人。生卒年均不详，约宋高宗绍兴末前后在世。工为词，尝赋西湖谒金门词，有“波底夕阳红湿”之句。高宗喜曰：“我家裹人也会作此”！……"乾道、淳熙间，（公元一一七四年前后）以直宝文阁知建宁府。终左司郎官。彦端词以婉约纤秾胜，有介庵词四卷，及介庵集十卷，外集三卷，均《宋史艺文志》并行于世。
