花光多么绚烂浓郁，绿柳丝丝轻柔鲜明，人们在花前安排酒宴，热情地为我送行。
我只不过是像平日一样和大家一同相聚畅饮，请不要让管弦奏出令人感伤的离别哀音。

别滁：告别滁州。
浓烂：形容鲜花灿烂。轻明：一作“轻盈”。
且：一作“只”。
离声：指别离歌曲。
别滁创作背景
欧阳修于宋仁宗庆历五年（1045年）八月贬为滁州（州治在今安徽滁县）知州，在滁州做了两年多的地方官。庆历八年（1048年），改任扬州知州，这首《别滁》诗就是当时所作。

别滁鉴赏
欧阳修胸襟旷达，虽处逆境之中，仍能处处自得其乐。他的《醉翁亭记》，末二段就表现了他与民同乐的情景。此诗和《醉翁亭记》同样用了一个“醉”字，但并不过多地渲染那些离情别绪。《醉翁亭记》是写游宴之乐、山水之美，这诗所表现的父老亲故送别饯宴的情景，别是一番情味。
首句写景，点明别滁的时间是在光景融和的春天。欧阳修由滁州徙知扬州，朝廷的公文是在那一年闰正月下达的，抵达扬州为二月。滁州地处南方，气候较暖，这里与作者在夷陵（今湖北宜昌）所写的另一首《戏答元珍》诗“春风疑不到天涯，二月山城未见花”不同，而是花光浓烂，柳丝轻明。这样，此诗首句不仅写出了别滁的节候特征，也为全诗定下了舒坦开朗的基调。
次句叙事，写当地吏民特意为欧阳修饯行。“酌酒花前”，是众宾客宴送知州，与《醉翁亭记》的知州宴众宾正好相反；这天还有丝竹助兴，气氛显得热烈隆重。它虽不同于以往投壶下棋、觥筹交错的游宴之乐，但同样写出了官民同乐和滁州民众对这位贤知州离任的一片深情。
后两句是抒情，诗人把自己矛盾、激动的心情以坦然自若的语言含蓄地表达了出来。欧阳修在滁州任职期间，颇有惠政。饯行时当地父老向他所表示的真挚友好的感情，使诗人的内心久久不能平静：两年多的贬谪生活即将过去，这里地僻事简，民俗淳厚，作者特别对以前在滁州琅琊山与众宾客的游宴情景怀念不已；而此时却是离别在即，滁州的山山水水，吏民的热情叙别，使他百感交集。这里“我亦且如常日醉”的“且”字，用得极好，写出了诗人与众宾客一起开怀畅饮时的神情意态和他的内心活动。结句用的是反衬手法，在这种饯别宴上作为助兴而奏的音乐，是欧阳修平时爱听的曲调。但因离忧婴心，所以越是悦耳的曲调，内心就越感到难受。唐朝张谓写过一首题为《送卢举使河源》的赠别诗：“故人行役向边州，匹马今朝不少留。长路关山何日尽，满堂丝竹为君愁。”这里结句所表达的意思，为欧阳修所化用。“莫教弦管作离声”，发人思索，使诗意余韵不尽。后来黄庭坚《夜发分宁寄杜涧叟》诗“我自只如当日醉，满川风月替人愁”，也是从此脱出。
欧阳修这首诗与一般叙写离愁别绪之作所渲染的凄恻之情，有明显的不同，它落笔轻快自然，平易流畅。这与宋初盛行的刻意追求辞藻华丽，内容却显得空虚的“西昆体”诗风形成鲜明对照。由于欧阳修在诗歌创作中以明快朴实的诗风力矫时弊，因而就成了北宋诗坛的一大名家。

欧阳修（1007－1072），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”。汉族，吉州永丰（今江西省永丰县）人，因吉州原属庐陵郡，以“庐陵欧阳修”自居。谥号文忠，世称欧阳文忠公。北宋政治家、文学家、史学家，与韩愈、柳宗元、王安石、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩合称“唐宋八大家”。后人又将其与韩愈、柳宗元和苏轼合称“千古文章四大家”。
