译文
火云夏热凝聚着的汗水散成珠粒，颗粒珠子般的挥汗凝聚成火云。玉石般的身上，天暖得只穿碧色的轻纱。轻厚、碧色的衫衣，裹着如玉般的肌体。
脸颊上泛出的红晕，怕是被枕头印出来的。印在枕头上的是讨厌的脸上胭脂。空闲时，对照镜子，一看晚妆残散了。卸了妆，对着夕阳，也觉得轻闲无享。
注释
菩萨蛮：词牌名，原为唐教坊曲名。又名“菩萨篁”、“重叠金”、“花间意”、“梅花句”等。上下片各四句，均为两仄韵，两平韵。
回文：诗词的一种形式，因回环往复均能成诵而得名，相传起于前秦窦滔妻苏蕙的《璇玑图》。
琼：透明的玉石，代指少妇的肌体。
嫌：怕。
嫌：讨厌。晕（yùn）：代指胭脂。
闲：空闲。
残：卸退。晚照：夕阳。

宋神宗元丰三年（1080年）十一月，苏轼诗情高涨，作该词咏暮春闺情。

菩萨蛮·夏景回文鉴赏
上片，以比拟的手法，写少妇挥汗如珠、轻纱裹体的夏日容貌。“火云凝汗挥珠颗，颗珠挥汗凝云火”，渲染了少妇脸部的热汗如珍珠般的美。动静结合，神韵飞舞，光彩照人。上句突出“夏”之意，下句突出“汗”之美。“琼暖碧纱轻，轻纱碧暖琼”，写少妇绿中透白的肌体美。第三句突出“碧纱”的“轻”飘美，第四句突出白玉般的朦胧的体态美。诸多群像巧妙组合，造成了一种宛如仙女飘逸、分外妖烧的意境美。
下片，采用渲染手法，进一步描绘了少妇另外两种美：午睡美和晚妆美，即突出写了少妇午睡之后和晚照卸妆的体态美。“晕腮嫌枕印，印枕嫌腮晕”，将红脸与红枕互为因果，映衬出少女午睡而生的“晕”、“羞”的“红颜”美。“闲照晚妆残”句中“晚”字，点明少妇“闲”与“妆残”的时间。“残妆晚照闲”句中“晚照”，则渲染了少妇“残妆”后的“闲”适生活氛围。这种侧面描写具有极好的审美效果，颇有迷人的魅力。
为表现少妇的体态美，全词总是选择与之相适应的、同质同构的客观物象，来创造符合自己审美理想和审美趣味的意象。通过“火云”、“碧纱”、“琼暖”、“晕腮”和“晚照”等色彩词语，塑造了“火云凝汗”，碧纱琼裹、晕腮枕印、晚照残妆等少妇特有的体态美和闲适美的睡美人形象。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
