译文
天边的星辰渐渐地隐入晓雾，钟声鼓乐也已停歇在远处，窗外的晓莺在啼送残月西去。兰花上凝结着晶莹的晨露，柳枝在风中翩翩飞舞，满庭的落花报道着春暮。
空荡荡的阁楼上，我还在凭栏远望，惆怅，还似去年一样。春天就要过去了，旧日的欢欣已仿佛梦中的幻影，我仍在无穷的相思中把你期待。
注释
更漏子：词牌名。又名“付金钗”“独倚楼”“翻翠袖”“无漏子”。《尊前集》注“大石调”，《黄钟商》 又注“商调”（夷则商），《金奁集》入“林钟商调”。《词律》卷四，《词谱》卷六列此词。以四十六字体为正体。
星斗：即星星。
虚阁：空阁。
倚阑：即“倚栏”。鄂本作“倚兰”，误。

更漏子·星斗稀鉴赏
此词写女主人公晨起之后，登阁望远思念心上人的惆怅思绪。前三句从视听的感觉描写清晨景象。天刚晓时许多星星都隐没了，天空只剩下少数星星，故觉“星斗稀”。“钟鼓歇”是说清晓报时警夜的钟鼓声已经停歇。首二句从高远处写起，“帘外”句落到近处。用星斗、钟鼓、晓莺、残月等一系列表示时间的意象，点明时间是在清晓，在景物描写中已暗含人物。次三句继续描写景物，写露重风斜、落花满院，显已为暮春时节。不仅感到其中有人，而且隐约似见其有活动，从室内移步至庭院。上片名为写景，则已见情。主人公由室内转向庭院，满目萧索之景，满耳凄清之音。则其所感自不待言。作者抓住暮春与黎明的特点布景，展示出清冷凋零的画面，烘托出孤寂惆怅的气氛。这里虽然人未露面，景象中却已透出主人公的怨情愁绪。尤其画面中的“残月”、“落花”，蕴含人的情思更明显。
下片着重写主人公的活动心情。头三句写主人公登高望远，引起的无限惆怅之情。“虚”字既表物象，也表人情。虚的感觉因空空无人产生，从实境的空虚导致心情的空虚。“倚阑望”是下阕的关节，一切内心活动俱由此句的“望”引出。“还似去年”四字可见其惆怅时日之长。次三句点明惆怅之因，是惆怅之际的深入思索，表现主人公的活动心情。说惆怅“还似去年”，道旧欢“如梦中”，不仅写出主人公登高望远的一时心境，而且揭示出主人公相思的苦况，闺怨的深沉由来已久。“春欲暮”暗示青春已逝，美人迟暮的忧惧，“思无穷”则见其所欢仍然是遥不可及。因此结句点明旧日的欢乐如今只有在梦中追寻了。末句语调似甚轻淡，而表情极为深刻。“旧欢”是“思”的中心，两性欢爱是深闭闺中妇女的至愿，尤其是芳春花前月下的亲昵。而今芳时一再虚度，旧日欢乐益令人追思不置。过往之事，恍如梦逝，可思而不可即，而思念的迷惘之状，于此句则表现得淋漓尽致。
此词意蕴丰富，既可作思妇念人之看。亦可作人臣失位之想。全词语淡情浓，把主人公的怀人之情写得千转百回，缠绵不尽。这在温词中也可谓别具一格。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
