译文
万千枫林被霜打过焕发鲜亮的红色，红军战士一腔怒火直冲云天。大雾笼罩龙冈深暗的连绵群峰，我军齐声高呼，前线杀敌并活捉了张辉瓒。
二十万敌兵又来侵犯，狼烟四起遮掩了半边天。我将唤醒千百万的工农大众，同心协力齐努力，那时不周山下红旗遍插迎风招展。
注释
1.霜天：这里指冬天。秋冬都有霜，故可统称“霜天”。
2.烂漫：光彩分布貌。《文选》卷十五张衡《思玄赋》：“烂漫丽靡”。
3.天兵：指红军。
4.霄汉：高空。霄，云气；汉，天汉，即天河。云气和天河都是在高空，所以用来表示高旷至极的天际。
5.龙冈：龙冈头墟的简称，在江西省宁都、吉水、吉安、泰和、永丰诸县之间，地属永丰县。山峦重叠，形式极险。
6.千嶂：许多高山。宋 范仲淹《渔家傲》：“千嶂里，长烟落日孤城闭。”
7.张辉瓒：国民党第十八师师长，兼任江西剿匪总指挥，俘虏后被愤怒的群众斩首，其头装在木笼内扔入赣江。
8.二十万军重入赣：敌人发动第二次“围剿”时，总兵力20万，何应钦任总司令。
9.风烟：犹风尘，杜甫《秋兴》：“万里风烟接素秋。”
10.天半：半空。
11.不周山：不周山为古代传说中的山名，最早见于《山海经·大荒西经》：“西北海之外，大荒之隅，有山而不合，名曰不周。”据王逸注《离骚》，高周注《淮南子·道原训》均考不周山在昆仑山西北。相传不周山是人界唯一能够到达天界的路径，但不周山终年寒冷，长年飘雪，非凡夫俗子所能徒步到达。不周山具体在哪里有多种说法，最常见的说法是帕米尔高原。

一九三零年十二月七日，蒋至南昌部署第一次大“围剿”，以十万兵力，进攻赣南、闽西的红军根据地。十二月三十日，红军在龙冈伏击张辉瓒并全歼其十八师。第一次大“围剿”就此结束，闻听前方捷报，毛主席喜形于色，遂在马背上吟成。

渔家傲·反第一次大“围剿”鉴赏
此诗作于1931年早春，其时正值冬春交替之节令。毛泽东所领导的中央革命根据地呈现出一派万千林木被霜染红，烂漫盛开之景。虽有寒意却处处给人有温暖如春之感，诗人笔下根据地的冬天生机盎然，就在这勃勃向上的画面中，冬日正义的肃杀之气正严阵以待。因为就在此时，在1930年的岁尾，蒋介石调集约十万大军以伪江西省主席、国民党第九路军总指挥鲁涤平为总司令官，第18师师长张辉瓒为前线总指挥向中央革命根据地发动第一次大“围剿”。此诗前二行正艺术地集中再现了当时的处境以及士气高昂之情。
红军战士不仅仅是一腔怒火冲云端，而且为保卫家园在伟大舵手的亲自指挥下沉着迎战。在诗中第三、第四、第五句中生动凝炼地再现了战斗场面，虽未正面详细描写激战情况，但诗人凌云健笔先点出龙冈大雾，暗示给读者一种毛主席一贯的“诱敌深入”伏击之的战略战术，然后是战士的欢呼声，最后进抵战局之结果，并干干脆脆地用一个具体细节指明活捉敌军前线总指挥张辉瓒，犹如王昌龄的“已报生擒吐谷浑”。而当时的情形也的确如此，毛主席亲自指挥红一方面军的一、三两个军团，共四万人，先是后撤，于12月下旬将敌军先头部队诱至根据地中部，紧接着于1930年最后一天在龙冈作伏击歼敌之战，结果一举击溃敌军并活捉张辉瓒及敌部九千人。新年伊始，再度乘胜攻击，至1931年1月3日，共歼敌军一半以上。迎来了第一次反“围剿”的胜利。
本诗上半阕是诗人喜闻龙冈之战大捷的当晚一气写成的，第三句原为“唤起工农千百万”，而后在次年春，当诗人闻敌人将结集更大兵力作第二次大“围剿”时，心潮起伏，英迈难平，遂一气补写出整首诗的下半阕。完稿后，毛泽东发现上下两阕都有“唤起工农千百万”之句，便将上半阕的第三句改为“雾满龙冈千嶂暗”。
由此可见，此诗上半阕写作战的胜利，下半阕却是再发雄音以表第二次迎战之决心。
序幕一揭，国民党又以双倍兵力卷土重来，滚滚狼烟遮没了半个天空，真有“黑云压城城欲摧”之势，面对重兵来犯，如何迎敌，诗人仍然满怀信心，运筹帷幄，最后三句一口气豪迈道出：“唤起千百万劳苦大众齐心协力奋勇向前，那时红旗就会插遍整个中国”，同时也表明作者一贯的思想：放手发动群众，人民战争、革命战争是群众的战争等等。
最后一行，诗人活用了中国古代神话中共工头触不周山的故事，在他眼里，共工是胜利者，是敢于革命的英雄，共工以头触山就比喻为红军将士最终将推翻蒋家王朝，毛主席不愧为一位有预见性的诗人，他在最艰苦的岁月已看到遥远的胜利的曙光。犹如一位美国诗人庞德所说，真正的“诗人是一个种族触角。”唯有这样的诗人才有最灵敏的触须，才有预见性，才可能比所有人提前预感到自己民族的欢乐、胜利、痛苦、悲哀、不幸及灾难。毛主席就是这样一位诗人，他已感觉到了这一切，胜利只是指日可待的事。
此词中出现了两组“红“字词组：”红烂漫红旗乱“。取得第一次反围剿的胜利，已是一九三一年的元月，此时已进入冬季，是万木萧条的日子，应该不会出现“万木霜天红烂漫”的情景，但在这里毛主席着意讴歌的不是山河形胜而是人和。小试牛刀即以弱胜强，以寡敌众，使他看到了“红色”的希望，他的喜悦之情当难以言表，没有什么再好的词语能够帮助他表述这份成功的快乐，惟有“红烂漫”才足以把他在取得胜利后的欢欣之情浓缩于霜天中的万木。
目睹胜利了的红军将士在龙冈的重山叠岭之下，挥舞红旗，欢庆胜利。毛主席想到了三千年前那位“与颛顼争为帝，怒而触不周之山”的氏族首领共工氏，在他眼中,被唤起的千百万工农群众，每一个人都成了能使得“天柱折，地维绝”的大英雄，这些大英雄们将与他一道砸碎黑色锁链，建立红色政权。如果说这是他人民战争思想的萌芽，那么后来也正是他人民战争的光辉思想，领导中国人民战胜了日本侵略者打垮了蒋家王朝，建立了新中国。
