译文
夕阳西下，万物在晚霞的映衬下，璀璨异常、如梦如幻，让人格外珍惜这短暂的美景。清冽的泉水纯净透明，惹人喜爱。
夕阳的余晖洒落在水面上，随着时间的流逝，水面上的余晖渐渐向东聚拢、散去，好像是眷念、追逐着东去的流水一般。此情此景令作者思乡之情油然而生，久不能静。
眺望着云中明月，唱一曲故乡民乐，不曾想，欲解乡愁愁更愁，吟乐思乡徒增惆。一曲终了，连古松也不禁发出簌簌之声。
注释
惜：珍惜，不舍。
暮：傍晚，太阳落山的时候。
寒泉：清冽的泉水或井水。
清：水或其他液体、气体纯净透明，没有混杂的东西，与“浊”相对：～水、～泉。
西辉：指夕阳余辉。
逐：追赶、追逐。
荡漾：指飘荡；起伏不定；水面等起伏波动；形容无法平静。
游子情：游子，久居他乡或异国之人；游子情，身在异乡之人的思乡情。
空：没有结果的，白白地。作者歌唱乡乐而不能归故里，乡乐本是用来解乡愁的，但现在一时无法回到故里，更增惆怅，故有“空歌”之叹。
长松：高大的松树，古松。
游南阳清泠泉创作背景
此诗是一首纪游之作，作于唐玄宗开元二十八年（公元740年）春。当时李白漫游来到南阳（今属河南），感于此处美景，于是写下了这首清新俊逸、含蓄隽永的作品。
游南阳清泠泉鉴赏
中国作家协会会员，南阳市作家协会副主席周同宾曾撰文《李白的南阳》，表达南阳的美和李白对南阳、对清冷泉的情有独钟——“不能不说到清泠泉。泉在白河岸，丰山麓。李白在那里看落日，赏寒泉，望云月，听松声，一时心潮难平，落笔写就《游南阳清泠泉》......幸而李白游过的清泠泉，还在诗里一直生动清静；今人想重游，只能去诗的意境里寻访。”
作者李白其长期游历各地，对社会生活、人间百态皆多有体验。公元740年，作者漫游来到河南南阳，在南阳寺侧见到了现今渠江流域著名的甘泉——清泠泉。作者深深陶醉于那如诗如画的景色中，彼情彼景和着阵阵松涛，引得他诗情盎然、逸兴横飞，于是触景生情的写下了这首《游南阳清泠泉》。
时值夕阳西下，落日的余晖洒满天际，映红了清冷泉的水面。远处晚霞绚丽，近处波光粼粼，水天一色，衬托着起伏的山峦、婆娑的树影，山清水秀，壮美绚丽。余晖虽美却非常短暂，让人珍惜。反观余晖下流水脉脉的清冷泉，不管日出日落，时光流逝，都静静的流淌着，温婉柔润，使得作者善感的心灵受到诸多启迪与慰藉。
美好的时光总是过得飞快，随着夕阳渐隐，水面粼粼的波光慢慢消失，就好像是夕阳的余晖追随着东去的流水，一同消失不见。此情此景不禁让作者想到了自己——一个常年游历四方、飘荡在外的游子，不管行多远、走多久，那颗思乡眷土之心总是如影随形，恰似此刻的余晖逐流水。
伴随着夕阳的消失，一轮明月渐渐显露于天际。而此刻，早已触景生情的作者心潮澎湃，不能自己，望着云际的明月，不禁引吭高歌，以解思乡之情。而此刻的古松竟然也和着歌声呼啸不已，如同体会到作者的心情似的。
纵观此诗，不仅写出了诗人对清泠泉周边景物的喜爱，同时落日余晖、松声月色更是勾起了诗人那拳拳思乡之情。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
