释了一（一○九二～一一五五），号照堂，俗姓徐，明州奉化（今属浙江）人。年十四于大云寺出家。年十六，从广寿梵光法师习天台教。后师从妙湛思慧禅师。游方遍谒耆宿。后住石泉寺，改圣泉寺，又被知福州叶梦得迎至黄檗道场。继归卧雪峰故庐。又出住云门，迁法石，返西湖雪峰庵。高宗绍兴二十四年（一一五四），诏住径山能仁禅院，次年卒，年六十四。为青原下十四世，雪峰妙湛思慧禅师法嗣。事见《鸿庆居士集》卷三二《径山照堂一公塔铭》，《嘉泰普灯录》卷一二、《五灯会元》卷一六、《补续高僧传》卷一一有传。今录诗二十首。
