《侍宴长宁公主东庄应制》鉴赏
原文
别业临青甸，鸣銮降紫霄。
长筵鹓鹭集，仙管凤凰调。
树接南山近，烟含北渚遥。
承恩咸已醉，恋赏未还镳。
赏析
此诗第一句交代宴饮的地点，为下文的展开写出了规定的场景。第二联把大臣们写得不同凡俗，更恰到好处地吹捧了皇帝。第三联突然笔锋一转，由宴会写到了东庄周围的环境。最后归结到宴会上来，收住上文，把宴会的气氛推向了高潮。
全诗用比喻、对比、夸张等多种修辞来介绍长宁公主的别墅，虽然辞藻过于华丽，但是皇家庄严肃穆的一面描绘得很具体，使人对皇帝家那种威严奢华的生活有了一定的了解。作为宰相，李峤写出如此的文章似乎很天经地义，这是政治和文学的结合，李峤既将政治目的融到了诗里，又严格按照五言律诗原有的体裁来编辑词汇。不管读者是否喜欢花团锦簇般的修辞堆在那里，皇家的气派似乎只有用这样的辞藻方能说明。大多数应制诗、侍筵诗都是如此。此诗俗处在于空泛，这也是大多数此类诗词很难跳出的套路。
这首作品是典型的侍筵诗。侍宴写的诗，多歌功颂德的溢美之词，少酸甜苦辣的隽永名言，这样的诗其实流传不广，因为没有什么用，充其量记录一些生活片段，玩一下生涩怪癖的文词，应景显才之为而已。

李峤(644～713) ，唐代诗人。字巨山。赵州赞皇（今属河北）人。李峤对唐代律诗和歌行的发展有一定的作用与影响。他前与王勃、杨炯相接，又和杜审言、崔融、苏味道并称“文章四友”。
