《送蹇秀才赴临洮》鉴赏
原文
怅望日千里，如何今二毛。
犹思阳谷去，莫厌陇山高。
倚马见雄笔，随身唯宝刀。
料君终自致，勋业在临洮。
赏析
此诗作于天宝十一载（752年）秋天。蹇秀才不知何人。大概这位蹇秀才与高适相似，都是久沉下僚，想到战场上去争取功名，因此高适创作此诗鼓励他。

高适是我国唐代著名的边塞诗人，世称“高常侍”。 作品收录于《高常侍集》。高适与岑参并称“高岑”，其诗作笔力雄健，气势奔放，洋溢着盛唐时期所特有的奋发进取、蓬勃向上的时代精神。
