译文
逍遥堂后千丈高的幽森古木，半夜里远方送来萧萧的风雨声。
误以为实现了对床共听夜雨的盟约而高兴，暂时忘怀了眼前不过是漂泊在彭城。
秋天官舍里夜凉似水，我离去后你将像山公烂醉如泥。
困卧在北窗喊也喊不醒，只听得窗外风吹松竹寒雨凄凄。
注释
“夜雨”句：此句见苏轼《辛丑十一月十九日既与子由别于郑州西门之外马上赋诗一篇寄之》。
余杭：此指杭州。
胶西：今山东胶县，宋代属密州（治所在今山东诸城），此指密州。
淮阳：即陈州，治所在今河南淮阳。济南：即齐州，治所在今山东济南。
澶：澶州，今河南濮阳。濮：濮州，今山东鄄城北。
千寻：原本作“千章”，据别本改。一寻为八尺，千寻形容树木高大。
中宵：夜晚。
对床：两人对床而卧。
彭城：即今江苏徐州。
东阁：一作“官阁”。
客去：一作“别后”。客，作者自指。山公醉似泥：化用山简事，《晋书·山简传》载，山简为襄阳太守时，“每出嬉游，多之（习家）池上，置酒辄醉，名之曰高阳池。时有儿童歌曰：‘山公出何许，往至高阳池。日夕倒载归，酩酊无所知。’”山公，指苏轼。
北窗：一作“纸窗”。
凄凄：寒冷貌。

逍遥堂会宿二首鉴赏
辙幼从子瞻读书，未尝一日相舍。既仕，将宦游四方，读韦苏州诗至“安知风雨夜，复此对床眠”，恻然感之，乃相约早退，为闲居之乐。故子瞻始为凤翔幕府，留诗为别曰：“夜雨何时听萧瑟⑴？”其后子瞻通守余杭⑵，复移守胶西⑶，而辙滞留于淮阳、济南⑷，不见者七年。熙宁十年二月，始复会于澶濮之间⑸，相从来徐留百余日。
第一首是触景伤情，前两句是写景，后两句是抒情。前两句所写之景虽是徐州逍遥堂之景，却与十七年前他们在京师怀远驿所见之景酷似。苏轼《感旧诗》叙说：“嘉祐中予与子由同举制策，寓居怀远驿，时年二十六，而子由二十三耳。一日秋风起，雨作，中夜翛然（急速貌），始有感慨离合之意。”苏辙所说的共读韦苏州（韦应物）诗，“相约早退”，即在此时。《感旧诗》中又说：“自尔宦游四方，不相见者十尝七八。每夏秋之交，风雨作，木落草衰，辄凄然有此感。”这次逍遥堂的风雨声引起苏辙兄弟的“追感前约”，只不过是其中的一次而已。秋风秋雨，一般给人以“凄然”之感，但这次给他们的却是“喜”，因为他们在“不见者七年”之后，总算“会宿逍遥堂”了。但这种“喜”又是“误喜”，是空欢喜，因为他们原来是“相约早退”，去过自由自在的闲居生活。而此时二人皆在做官，行动并不自由。虽对床夜语，仿佛“旧约”真的实现了；但不久就要“孤帆水驿”，再次离别：“贱仕迫程期，迁延防谴怒。”（《雨中陪子瞻同颜复长官送梁焘学士舟行汶上》）“不知”二字也用得妙，既是因“误喜”而暂忘“漂泊”，更是诗人对“误喜”的自嘲。暂时漂泊彭城，其实是没有什么可喜的。
第二首是诗人想象自己离开徐州后苏轼的心情。首句“凉如水”既是写秋凉，也暗示了他离去后苏轼将很感孤独、清冷。次句化用“山公”山简事。山简官至尚书左仆射。他镇襄阳时，优游闲适，但是嗜好喝酒，一喝就喝到醉。（见《晋书·山简传》）苏轼常以山简自况，如“谁记山公醉夕阳”（《新葺小园》），苏辙这里也以山简比苏轼，说他离去后，兄长定很苦闷，只好以酒浇愁。第三句进一步补写苏轼的醉态，最后仍以凄风苦雨作结。全诗所写的秋凉如水，烂醉似泥，困卧不起，风雨凄凄，既造成了清冷的气氛，又突出了苏轼的苦闷，比第一首具有更浓厚的感伤色彩。
张耒评苏轼苏辙两人的诗风：“长公（苏轼）波涛万顷海，少公（苏辙）峭拔千寻麓。”（《赠李德载》）苏轼诗如大海怒涛，汹涌澎湃；苏辙诗如高山茂林，幽深峭峻。这两首诗也颇能代表苏辙的诗风，质朴自然，不事雕琢，清幽冷峻，有一唱三叹之致。

苏辙（1039—1112年），字子由，汉族，眉州眉山（今属四川）人。嘉祐二年（1057）与其兄苏轼同登进士科。神宗朝，为制置三司条例司属官。因反对王安石变法，出为河南推官。哲宗时，召为秘书省校书郎。元祐元年为右司谏，历官御史中丞、尚书右丞、门下侍郎因事忤哲宗及元丰诸臣，出知汝州，贬筠州、再谪雷州安置，移循州。徽宗立，徙永州、岳州复太中大夫，又降居许州，致仕。自号颍滨遗老。卒，谥文定。唐宋八大家之一，与父洵、兄轼齐名，合称三苏。
