译文
归程何忍太匆匆，还想勒马暂徘徊。岂是秋色看不足？倒霉情绪难排解。人说饮酒可忘忧，奈何我病后体弱不敢挨。回想贤内捣衣时，何等孤独难忍耐；今日独自苦奔波，痛悼亡妻情满怀。
远树凋落晚风哀，乡村小店门尚开。多情只有灯前影，伴我同去又同来。旅店主人来问候，说比前回又见衰。
注释
风入松：词牌名。《词谱》卷十七：“古琴曲有《风入松》，唐代僧人皎然有《风入松歌》，见《乐府诗集》一调名本此。
归鞍（ān）：回家。鞍，指马。
徘（pái）徊（huái）：来回地行走。
逆境：不顺利的境遇，此处指处于逆境中的恶劣情绪。
孤负金罍（léi）：辜负了金樽美酒。意思是病后体弱，不能开怀畅饮。“孤负”同“辜负”。 金罍，金质的酒器。
捣（dǎo）衣：古时候，新制作的衣服需要放在砧上捶打以使其纤维柔软，增增保暖效果，叫作“捣衣”。
鼓缶（fǒu）：据《庄子·至乐》：庄子妻死后，庄子“箕踞鼓缶而歌”。作者借此典表明哀悼妻子的情怀。缶，瓦盆。
摇落：凋落。
此翁：作者自指。
逆旅主人：旅店老板。

风入松·归鞍尚欲小徘徊创作背景
南宋嘉定二年（1209年），刘克庄娶妻林氏，婚后二人感情甚笃，但林氏不幸因病去世，时年39岁。此词是宋理宗绍定元年（1228年），刘克庄从建阳罢官途经福清时为悼念亡妻林氏而作。

词的上片开头即写词人骑马归来、徬徨歧路的痛苦。曰“归鞍”，曰“徘徊”，曰“逆境难排”，初非出于悼亡，其中暗含政治上失意的悲愤。“逆境难排”一句正说明词人因削职归来，仕途上陷于逆境。这里词人把对亡妻的悼念之情与政治上的失落感糅合在一起，自然浑成，不着痕迹。“人言”二句，用事而能浑化。有病，一可悲也；病而有忧，二可悲也；有忧而不能饮酒，三可悲也。语曲而婉，情深且挚。“孤负”二字，显得感慨沉郁，而又婉曲深挚。如果说以上纯系抒情，那么至歇拍二句，则将情与景融而为一，逐渐点出悼亡的主题，并为下片作铺垫。“萧瑟捣衣时候”，是运典写景，兼点时令。抓住富有特征的细节，勾起对昔日生活的回忆，抒发深沉的掉念。“凄凉鼓缶情怀”，是蝉联前句，用典抒情。从归鞍徘徊写到此处，词旨渐趋显豁。这种手法有如剥茧抽丝，将读者渐渐引入词的意境。
词的下片紧承上片继续写景。“野店犹开”四字，使词情稍稍扬起，将前词所表现的悲哀稍稍冲淡了一些。但是就在一扬一抑之中，感情愈转愈深。“多情惟是灯前影，伴此翁同去同来。”二句通过孤馆寒灯，表达了对亡妻的思念。从语言上看，也似带有几分欣喜，然而骨子里却是更深沉的悲哀。词人身处孤馆，唯有一盏寒灯作为伴侣，一种孤寂之感，悼念之情，凄然流于言外。不直接写人亡，而以客观景物作为烘托，这是一种婉曲的手法。结尾二句直率朴实，如出逆旅主人之口。“今回老似前回”，重在一个“老”字。这一形貌上的变化，都是通过逆旅主人的眼光反映出来的。
词人借景抒情，全词中处处洋溢着词人对妻子的深情厚意和绵绵不绝的思念，让读者读来自然真切，凄美悲痛。
