归鞍尚欲小徘徊。逆境难排。人言酒是消忧物，奈病余孤负金罍。萧瑟捣衣时候，凄凉鼓缶情怀。
译文：归程何忍太匆匆，还想勒马暂徘徊。岂是秋色看不足？倒霉情绪难排解。人说饮酒可忘忧，奈何我病后体弱不敢挨。回想贤内捣衣时，何等孤独难忍耐；今日独自苦奔波，痛悼亡妻情满怀。
注释：归鞍：回家。鞍，指马。徘徊：来回地行走。逆境：不顺利的境遇，此处指处于逆境中的恶劣情绪。孤负金罍：辜负了金樽美酒。意思是病后体弱，不能开怀畅饮。“孤负”同“辜负”。金罍，金质的酒器。捣衣：古时候，新制作的衣服需要放在砧上捶打以使其纤维柔软，增增保暖效果，叫作“捣衣”。鼓缶：据《庄子·至乐》：作者借此典表明哀悼妻子的情怀。缶，瓦盆。
远林摇落晚风哀，野店犹开。多情惟是灯前影，伴此翁同去同来。逆旅主人相问，今回老似前回。
译文：远树凋落晚风哀，乡村小店门尚开。多情只有灯前影，伴我同去又同来。旅店主人来问候，说比前回又见衰。
注释：摇落：凋落。此翁：作者自指。逆旅主人：旅店老板。

刘克庄(1187～1269) 南宋诗人、词人、诗论家。字潜夫，号后村。福建莆田人。宋末文坛领袖，辛派词人的重要代表，词风豪迈慷慨。在江湖诗人中年寿最长，官位最高，成就也最大。晚年致力于辞赋创作，提出了许多革新理论。
