庵中有主从君住，无主外来俱得路。云烟眯目山碍膺，榛莽欺人溪涧怒。
看他本色住庵人，捏聚大千无一尘。自见泥牛斗入海，不记住来经几春。
头陀头陀休趁鬨，一世初无一炊梦。口边白醭未暇揩，谁能更乞诸方颂。
持来抛放烈焰中，归种香山芋与菘。蓦地钁头轻筑著，林间石虎吼天风。

释慧空（一○九六～一一五八），号东山，俗姓陈，福州（今属福建）人。年十四出家，初学于圆悟、六祖，后至疏山，为南岳下十四世，泐潭清禅师法嗣。高宗绍兴二十三年（一一五三），住福州雪峰禅院，次年退归东庵。二十八年卒，年六十三（《五灯会元》卷一八、《东山慧空禅师语录跋》）。有《东山慧空禅师语录》、《雪峰空和尚外集》传世。 释慧空诗，以续藏经本《东山慧空禅师语录跋》及日本旧刻《雪峰空和尚外集》（今藏北京图书馆）为底本，编为二卷。
