海西蛰起蛟龙怒，昨夜海吼风不住。风声入耳骇人闻，风势如痴复如飓。
客子残灯半灭明，闭门欹枕空百虑。山房四柱柱影摇，有时风欲挟之去。
万马蹄奔剑戟鸣，虎豹搏噬急雨注。往来嘈杂不成眠，一夜梦魂无宿处。
平明起视浮云决，风力渐微声渐歇。呼童煖酒赏春朝，似怯寒吹帘幔彻。
因忆去年腊月初，番仔渡头朔风烈。番社纷纷乱捲茅，竹树倒披梢半折。
耳鼻填沙眼怕开，行人却走马蹩躠。山溪狂似海波潮，溪水冷于轴头铁。
双犊乱流车苦迟，番儿强挽肤破裂。下马停车权息肩，店舍无烟酒不热。
番儿力尽冻且僵，呼起聊为哺与啜。可怜幅布半围身，青钱那惜恣饕餮。
此时如我敢言寒，犹有敝裘重补缀。况复今朝风已春，窗明几净椒盘新。
水仙香发绿尊满，春冷无眠奚足嚚。风波自古仗忠信，念尔孤篷海上人。

陈梦林（1670～1745），字少林，福建漳浦人。康熙五十五年（1716），诸罗县令周钟瑄知其曾经编修漳州及漳浦郡县两志，具有丰富修志经验，因此敦聘纂修《诸罗县志》。先生博览周咨，熟稔诸罗之地利、风土、人情而后写成，后人如谢金銮、连横等皆许为台湾方志中之第一。雍正元年（1723）欲以梦林应召举孝廉，辞谢不往。同年再游台湾，数月之后离去。卒年七十六。著书五种，其中《台湾游草》、《台湾后游草》、《游台诗》一卷。
