吁嗟乎！沧海扬尘兮日月盲，神州陆沈兮陵谷崩！
藐孤军之屹立兮，呼癸呼庚；予悯此孑遗兮，遂息机而寝兵。
方壶圆峤兮，聊税驾以埋名；岂神龙鱼服兮，罹彼豫且之罾！
予生则中华兮，死则大明；寸丹为重兮，七尺为轻。
维彼文山兮，亦羁绁于燕京；黄冠故乡兮，非予心之所欣。
欲慷慨以自裁兮，既束缚而严更；学谢公以绝粒兮，奈群诼之相并！
等鸿毛于一掷兮，何难谈笑而委形！忆唐臣之嚼齿兮，视鼎镬其犹冰！
念先人之浅土兮，忠孝无成；翳嗣子于牢笼兮，痛宗祀之云倾！
已矣乎！荀琼、谢玉亦有时而凋零，予之浩气兮化为风霆，余之精魂兮化为日星。
尚足留纲常于万祀兮，垂节义于千龄，夫何分孰为国祚兮孰为家声！
歌以言志兮，肯浮慕乎箕子之贞；若以拟夫「正气」兮，或无愧乎先生！

张煌言（1620—1664年），字玄著，号苍水，鄞县（今浙江宁波）人，汉族，南明儒将、诗人，著名抗清英雄。崇祯时举人，官至南明兵部尚书。后被俘，遭杀害，就义前，赋《绝命诗》一首。谥号忠烈。其诗文多是在战斗生涯里写成，质朴悲壮，表现出作家忧国忧民的爱国热情，有《张苍水集》行世。张煌言与岳飞、于谦并称“西湖三杰”。清国史馆为其立传，《明史》有传。1776年（乾隆四十一年）追谥忠烈，入祀忠义祠，收入《钦定胜朝殉节诸臣录》。
