朝光如飞犹尚可，暮更如箭不容卧。犍为穿城更漏频，
一一皆从枕边过。一夕凡几更，一更凡几声。
青春枉向镜中老，白发虚从愁里生。曾窥帝里东邻女，
自比桃花镜中许。一朝嫁得征戍儿，荷戈千里防秋去。
去时只作旦暮期，别后生死俱不知。风惊粉色入蝉鬓，
愁送镜花潜堕枝。前年因出长安陌，见一女人头雪白。
日中扶杖憩树阴，仿佛形容认相识。向予吁嗟还独语，
曾与君家邻舍住。当时妾嫁与征人，几向墙头诮夫主。
花开叶落何推迁，屈指数当三十年。眉头薤叶同枯叶，
琴上朱弦成断弦。嫁时宝镜依然在，鹊影菱花满光彩。
梦里长嗟离别多，愁中不觉颜容改。叹息人生能几何，
喜君颜貌未蹉跎。因君下马重相顾，请奏青门肠断歌。

薛逢，字陶臣，蒲洲河东（今山西永济县）人，会昌元年（公元八四一）进士。历侍御史、尚书郎。因恃才傲物，议论激切，屡忤权贵，故仕途颇不得意。《全唐诗》收录其诗一卷。《旧唐书》卷一九零，《新唐书》卷二零三皆有传。
