去年镊白鬓，镜里犹堪认年少。今年镊白发，
两眼昏昏手战跳。满酌浓酹假颜色，颜色不扬翻自笑。
少年曾读古人书，本期独善安有馀。虽盖长安一片瓦，
未遑卒岁容宁居。前年依亚成都府，月请俸缗六十五。
妻儿骨肉愁欲来，偏梁阁道归得否？长安六月尘亘天，
池塘鼎沸林欲燃。合家恸哭出门送，独驱匹马陵山巅。
到官只是推诚信，终日兢兢幸无吝。丞相知怜为小心，
忽然奏佩专城印。专城俸入一倍多，况兼职禄霜峨峨。
山妻稚女悉迎到，时列绿樽酣酒歌。醉来便向樽前倒，
风月满头丝皓皓。虽然减得阖门忧，又加去国五年老。
五年老，知奈何？来日少，去日多。金锤锤碎黄金镊，
更唱樽前老去歌。

薛逢，字陶臣，蒲洲河东（今山西永济县）人，会昌元年（公元八四一）进士。历侍御史、尚书郎。因恃才傲物，议论激切，屡忤权贵，故仕途颇不得意。《全唐诗》收录其诗一卷。《旧唐书》卷一九零，《新唐书》卷二零三皆有传。
