城头簌簌风沙鸣，城边日淡连庙甍。红砖黄瓦制可识，闻人称谓殊莫明。
宫墙大署微堕剥，肃然蘸拜门棂星。异哉州县王命祀，区区有此疑非经。
党庠遂序必有奉，按诸古制良可行。或云盗者构，此说非无徵。
盗亦有道颇附会，棼云教令多经营。包遏地险拥盐利，周遭楼橹终朝成。
往往伪迹未铲尽，因知喜乱缘民情。盗也尝为士，士习袭狰狞。
诗书所不泽，十逢九可憎。至人坚白犹不享，由矛求剑宁无灵。
官军虽至莫敢废，巡检主祀无登鉼。南城骈阗礼天主，老胡传教像悬膺。
榻房旧寺近修复，梵呗经过时可听。徘徊庙下何寂寞，鼯鼠飞殿草生庭。
通都大邑岂异此，啐酒礼毕门长扃。差免园蔬与马厩，博士寒冻无薪烝。
我思圣德如天地，南郊有事享惟精。诚当俎豆戒烦数，何须祠宇论废兴。
饮食必祭意固厚，朝夕而奉礼反轻。在人未坠苟有恃，日月奚与爝火争。
世士矫诬百可笑，拜跽但知利与名。固宜志士慷慨起，引臂疾呼寐者醒。
去年海内兴学会，推原讲习为膺惩。纪年上溯孔子卒，见者适适疑且惊。
过之而反中乃得，不见支屋木引绳。归来伸纸书此意，明朝不复事荒乘。

（1875—1898）清福建侯官人，字暾谷，号晚翠。光绪十九年举人。任内阁中书。倡闽学会，又助康有为开保国会。百日维新间，与谭嗣同等四人以四品卿衔入军机，参与新政。政变起，被捕遇害。为戊戌六君子之一。有《晚翠轩诗集》。
