蝗生于野谁所为，秋一母死遗百儿。埋藏地下不腐烂，疑有鬼党相收持。
寒禽冬饥啄地食，拾掇谷种无馀遗。吻惟掠卵不加破，意似留与人为饥。
去年冬温腊雪少，土脉不冻无冰凘。春气蒸炊出地面，戢戢密若在釜糜。
老农顽愚不识事，小不扑灭大莫追。遂令相聚成气势，来若大水无垠涯。
蓬蒿满眼幸无用，尔纵嚼尽谁尔讥。而何存留不咀嚼，反向禾黍加伤夷。
鸱鸦啄衔各取饱，充实肠腹如撑支。儿童跳跃仰面笑，却爱甚密嫌疏稀。
吾思万物造作始，一一尽可天理推。四其行蹄翼不假，上既载角齿乃亏。
夫何此独出群类，既使跃跳仍令飞。
麒麟千载或一见，仁足不忍踏草萎。凤凰偶出即为瑞，亦曰竹食梧桐栖。
彼何甚少此何众，况又口腹害不訾。遂令思虑不可及，万目仰面号天私。
天公被诬莫自辨，惨惨白日阴无辉。而余昏狂不自度，欲尽物理穷毫丝。
要袪众惑运独见，中夜力为穷研思。如知在人不在天，譬之蚤虱生裳衣。
扪搜剔拨要归尽，是岂人者尚好之。然而身尚不绝种，岂复垢旧招致斯。
鱼朽生虫肉腐蠹，理有常尔无何疑。
谁为忧国太息者，应喜我有原蝗诗。

王令（1032～1059）北宋诗人。初字钟美，后改字逢原。原籍元城（今河北大名）。 5岁丧父母，随其叔祖王乙居广陵（今江苏扬州）。长大后在天长、高邮等地以教学为生，有治国安民之志。王安石对其文章和为人皆甚推重。有《广陵先生文章》、《十七史蒙求》。
