孔文升，字退之，谱名思退，自号山竹，元曲家。自元至元乙丑年（1265年）生于浙江平阳，宋朝德祜末随父由浙江迁居金陵。少年参加科考一举成为金陵少年郡庠，传为美谈。1292年父亡后举家迁居溧阳，逐为溧阳人。卒于元至正辛卯年（1351年）终年八十七岁。后葬于城西举福乡，西吴山之栖梧原。（如今溧城镇上阁楼村西铁山南坡）。有“宁人负我，我毋负人，宁存书种，无苟富贵”藏书印。著有《孔文升散曲选》子孔齐，字克济、号行素，著有《至正直记》。后来其藏书被家中婢女用于剪鞋样、禙鞋帮，甚为憾事。
