胸中磊落藏五兵，欲试无路空峥嵘。
译文：胸中自有军事谋略，想要试炼一番却没有门路，空怀豪情。
注释：磊落：众多错杂的样子。五兵：即古代戈、殳、戟、酋矛、夷矛等五种兵器，此处借指用兵韬略。峥嵘：山势高峻的样子，此处喻满怀豪情。
酒为旗鼓笔刀槊，势从天落银河倾。
译文：草书如同行军打仗，书写前喝酒，好似军中的旗鼓以壮声威，手中的笔好似战士的刀枪，其气势如同银河从天上倾泻而下。
注释：槊：长矛，古代兵器之一。银河：天河，晴朗夜空中云状光带，望去像河。
端溪石池浓作墨，烛光相射飞纵横。
译文：以端溪出产的砚台磨墨，在烛光的照耀下，下笔纵横如飞。
注释：端溪石池：指端砚，为名砚。端溪在今广东高要县，古属端州。
须臾收卷复把酒，如见万里烟尘清。
译文：瞬间就完成草书，又端杯饮酒，就像打了一场胜仗，消除国难，恢复了太平，感觉酣畅淋漓。
注释：须臾：片刻，一会儿。烟尘清：比喻战斗结束。
丈夫身在要有立，逆虏运尽行当平。
译文：有志男儿当建立功业，有所立身，金人侵略者的命运已尽，应当去平定他们。
注释：丈夫：大丈夫，陆游自指。在：存。立：指立身处世，即立德、立言、立功。逆虏：指金侵略者。运：国运，气数。
何时夜出五原塞，不闻人语闻鞭声。
译文：何时才能够像汉朝时在五原塞出兵讨伐匈奴那样北伐金人呢？我已能想象到我军队伍十分整肃的场景，只听到扬鞭催马的声音，而没有人语声。
注释：行：将。五原塞：在今内蒙古自治区五原县，汉时曾从此处出兵，北伐匈奴。

陆游（1125—1210），字务观，号放翁。汉族，越州山阴（今浙江绍兴）人，南宋著名诗人。少时受家庭爱国思想熏陶，高宗时应礼部试，为秦桧所黜。孝宗时赐进士出身。中年入蜀，投身军旅生活，官至宝章阁待制。晚年退居家乡。创作诗歌今存九千多首，内容极为丰富。著有《剑南诗稿》、《渭南文集》、《南唐书》、《老学庵笔记》等。
