吴侬生长湖山曲，呼吸湖光饮山渌。
译文：吴人生长在湖山深曲处，呼吸着湖光饮的是青山翠绿。
注释：吴侬：吴语自称或称人为“侬”，此泛指江南人。曲，一作“麓”。渌：水清。
不论世外隐君子，佣儿贩妇皆冰玉。
译文：不用说超然世外的隐士，连奴仆女贩都清如冰玉。
注释：隐君子：隐居逃避尘世的人。佣儿：一作“佣奴”。贩妇：女商贩。
先生可是绝俗人，神清骨冷无由俗。
译文：林先生并不是隔绝凡尘的人，天生就神清骨冷资质脱俗。
注释：可是：岂是。神清：谓心神清朗。
我不识君曾梦见，瞳子了然光可烛。
译文：我不认识林先生却曾经梦见，目光清炯照人犹如明烛。
注释：了然：谓眼珠明亮。
遗篇妙字处处有，步绕西湖看不足。
译文：遗留的诗篇和墨迹处处都有，环绕着西湖总也看不足。
诗如东野不言寒，书似西台差少肉。
译文：诗歌像孟郊但没有寒苦格调，书法似李建中笔力瘦硬刚拙。
注释：东野：指唐代诗人孟郊。西台：指宋书法家李建中，字得中，蜀人，善真行书，曾掌西京（洛阳）留司御史台，故称李西台或李留台。
平生高节已难继，将死微言犹可录。
译文：平生高尚的风节无人能继，临终时精微的言语还值得记录。
注释：微言：精微的言论。
自言不作封禅书，更肯悲吟白头曲！
译文：自己说没有写过封禅书一类的东西，难道他还肯把叹老嗟悲的诗句写出？
注释：白头曲：《西京杂记》云：“相如将聘茂陵女为妾，卓文君作《白头吟》以自绝，相如乃止。”此处白头曲借指伤老嗟卑的诗歌。
我笑吴人不好事，好作祠堂傍修竹。
译文：我笑江南人并不好事，倒喜欢建造祠堂依傍着修竹。
不然配食水仙王，一盏寒泉荐秋菊。
译文：不然就该让林先生的像配水仙王，将一盏寒泉一支秋菊向他献上。
注释：水仙王：西湖旁有水仙王庙，祀钱塘龙君，故称钱塘龙君为水仙王。荐：遇时节供时物而祭。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
