丁基仲侧室善丝桐赋咏，晓达音吕，备歌舞之妙。
译文：丁宥的妾能诗赋，善音乐，懂得音律，具备歌舞的美妙。
注释：高山流水：词牌名，又名“锦瑟清商引”。丁基仲：丁宥，字基仲，号宏庵。侧室：妾。丝桐：琴。
素弦一一起秋风。写柔情、都在春葱。徽外断肠声，霜宵暗落惊鸿。低颦处、翦绿裁红。仙郎伴、新制还赓旧曲，映月帘栊。似名花并蒂，日日醉春浓。
译文：凄厉的商炫声如一阵阵秋风。音乐来自那纤细、柔情的手。徽音之外的悲哀的旋律，使秋天的鸿雁惊飞。时而低首皱眉，满含红情绿意的缠绵之态。丁宥相伴，在月夜下窗栊内共谱新曲，奏新声，新曲接旧曲，曲曲优美动听。夫妻恩爱如并蒂花迎春，天天沉醉在春天里。
注释：素弦：商弦，商属秋。春葱：女子洁白纤细的手指。徽：徽音，美好的乐声。颦：皱眉。剪绿裁红：指红花绿叶。赓：连续。
吴中。空传有西子，应不解、换徵移宫。兰蕙满襟怀，唾碧总喷花茸。后堂深、想费春工。客愁重、时听蕉寒雨碎，泪湿琼钟。恁风流也称，金屋贮娇慵。
译文：吴中西施虽是古代著名美女，但她不晓得音律。而丁妾音乐旋律中富有优美高尚的情感，诗才喷涌如花似碧。在深深的后堂内，费尽心力作曲、弹琴、吟诗、作赋。我愁绪满怀，时时听到雨打芭蕉的音响，当听到丁妾的商弦秋声，泪湿潸潸。丁宥金屋藏娇，可谓风流之至。
注释：换徵移宫：指弹奏音乐。唾碧：化用《飞燕外传》所载的婕妤言飞燕唾吐如石上花的典故，赞丁妾口唾如花的诗才。花茸：用李煜《一斛珠》：“烂嚼花茸，笑向檀郎唾”之意，写夫妻嬉戏恩爱之状。琼钟：指古代美好的音乐。金屋：泛指给心爱女人住的屋宇，或女子居室的美称。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
