梦觉清宵半。悄然屈指听银箭。惟有床前残泪烛，啼红相伴。暗惹起、云愁雨恨情何限。从卧来、展转千馀遍。任数重鸳被，怎向孤眠不暖。
译文：半夜从梦中惊醒。静静地一边细听一边屈指数着漏滴声。床前只有将要燃尽的流泪红烛相伴。暗自引发我无限的离别之情。独自躺在床上到现在已辗转反侧了千馀遍也无法入睡。怎奈独自而眠，任凭数重鸳鸯被也无法感到温暖。
注释：梦觉：梦醒。干宝《搜神记》：“忽如梦觉，犹在枕旁。”清宵：清净的夜晚。银箭：指银饰的标记时刻以计时的漏箭。啼红：指蜡烛之红泪。云愁雨恨：指夫妻之欢。展转：同“辗转”，翻来覆去。怎向：犹怎奈，奈何。
堪恨还堪叹。当初不合轻分散。及至厌厌独自个，却眼穿肠断。似恁地、深情密意如何拚。虽后约、的有于飞愿。奈片时难过，怎得如今便见。
译文：可悔又可叹的是，当初不该轻易分离。到如今独自无聊，正望眼欲穿愁断肠。如此情深意浓如何才能和好如初？纵然确有日后相聚和美的愿望，奈何这片刻的难过，怎么才能够得以马上相见？
注释：堪：可以。不合：不该。厌厌：疲倦，精神不倦。眼穿肠断：形容思念之切。眼穿，犹言望眼欲穿。肠断，形容极度悲痛。恁地：这样，这般。拚：同“拼”，舍弃。的有：的确有。于飞：原指比翼双飞，借喻夫妻和睦。片时：片刻。

柳永，（约987年—约1053年）北宋著名词人，婉约派代表人物。汉族，崇安（今福建武夷山）人，原名三变，字景庄，后改名永，字耆卿，排行第七，又称柳七。宋仁宗朝进士，官至屯田员外郎，故世称柳屯田。他自称“奉旨填词柳三变”，以毕生精力作词，并以“白衣卿相”自诩。其词多描绘城市风光和歌妓生活，尤长于抒写羁旅行役之情，创作慢词独多。铺叙刻画，情景交融，语言通俗，音律谐婉，在当时流传极其广泛，人称“凡有井水饮处，皆能歌柳词”，婉约派最具代表性的人物之一，对宋词的发展有重大影响，代表作 《雨霖铃》《八声甘州》。
