后土之花，天下无二本。方其初开，帅臣以金瓶飞骑，进之天上，间亦分致贵邸。余客辇下，有以一枝已下共缺十八行。
译文：朱钿宝玦，天上飞琼，比人间春别。
注释：瑶花慢：一名《瑶华》。双调，一百零二字，仄韵格。后土：扬州后土祠。天上：皇宫、皇帝。
朱钿宝玦，天上飞琼，比人间春别。江南江北曾未见，漫拟梨云梅雪。淮山春晚，问谁识、芳心高洁？消几番、花落花开，老了玉关豪杰！
注释：朱钿：嵌金花的首饰。宝玦：珍贵的佩玉。飞琼：许飞琼，仙女，传说中西王母的侍女。淮山：指盱眙军的都梁山，在南宋北界之淮水旁。玉关：玉门关。
金壶翦送琼枝，看一骑红尘，香度瑶阙。韶华正好，应自喜、初乱长安蜂蝶。杜郎老矣，想旧事、花须能说。记少年，一梦扬州，二十四桥明月。
注释：金壶：酒壶之美称。瑶阙：传说中的仙宫。韶华：指美好的时光。杜郎：指杜牧，作者自比。二十四桥，一说为二十四座桥。北宋沈括《梦溪笔谈·补笔谈》卷三中对每座桥的方位和名称一一做了记载。一说有一座桥名叫二十四桥。

周密 （1232-1298），字公谨，号草窗，又号四水潜夫、弁阳老人、华不注山人，南宋词人、文学家。祖籍济南，流寓吴兴（今浙江湖州）。宋德右间为义乌县（今年内属浙江）令。入元隐居不仕。自号四水潜夫。他的诗文都有成就，又能诗画音律，尤好藏弃校书，一生著述较丰。著有《齐东野语》、《武林旧事》、《癸辛杂识》、《志雅堂要杂钞》等杂著数十种。其词远祖清真，近法姜夔，风格清雅秀润，与吴文英并称“二窗”，词集名《频洲渔笛谱》、《草窗词》。
