南苑吹花，西楼题叶，故园欢事重重。凭阑秋思，闲记旧相逢。几处歌云梦雨，可怜便、汉水西东。别来久，浅情未有，锦字系征鸿。
译文：南苑吹花嬉戏，西楼题叶传情。故园里，多少美好的光阴。秋日里凭栏凝思，尚能记起旧时相聚。多少次如梦般美妙欢娱，换来的却是，流水般的各自东西。太久的分别，淡漠了当初的情意。竟不见归雁将锦书传递。
注释：歌云梦雨：旧时把男女欢情称作云雨情，歌云梦雨即对云雨情在歌中梦中重温之。锦字：用锦织成的文字。晋窦滔妻苏氏织锦为《回文璇玑图》诗以赠夫，后世遂以“锦字”作为妻子寄给丈夫快信的代称。此指情人的书信。征鸿：远飞的大雁。古时有“鸿雁传书”之说。“锦字系征鸿”即把快信系在鸿雁足上借以传递。
年光还少味，开残槛菊，落尽溪桐。漫留得，尊前淡月西风。此恨谁堪共说，清愁付、绿酒杯中。佳期在，归时待把，香袖看啼红。
译文：时光悄逝，栏菊枯败溪边桐叶飘去。只留下苦酒一杯，伴着疏月凄风。离愁别恨，又能与谁诉说？且把一腔愁绪，消磨在绿酒之中。只盼佳期到，那时一定要他细看，衣袖上点点泪痕。
注释：年光：时光。绿酒：即“绿蚁”。古时的酒(米酒)新酿成未过滤时，面上浮着淡绿色的米渣，故称。 啼红：指红泪，即美人之泪。此处借喻相思之苦。

晏几道（1030-1106，一说1038—1110 ，一说1038-1112），男，汉族，字叔原，号小山，著名词人，抚州临川文港沙河（今属江西省南昌市进贤县）人。晏殊第七子。历任颍昌府许田镇监、乾宁军通判、开封府判官等。性孤傲，晚年家境中落。词风哀感缠绵、清壮顿挫。一般讲到北宋词人时，称晏殊为大晏，称晏几道为小晏。《雪浪斋日记》云：“晏叔原工小词，不愧六朝宫掖体。”如《鹧鸪天》中的“舞低杨柳楼心月，歌尽桃花扇底风”等等词句，备受人们的赞赏。
