新绿小池塘，风帘动、碎影舞斜阳。羡金屋去来，旧时巢燕；土花缭绕，前度莓墙。绣阁里、凤帏深几许？听得理丝簧。欲说又休，虑乖芳信；未歌先噎，愁近清觞。
译文：碧绿的春水涨满小小的池塘，风吹帘动，斜照的阳光被帘子挡住，碎影舞弄满地金光。我真羡慕那燕子，在旧年筑巢的梁上又筑新巢，能在金屋间里来去飞翔；还有那苔藓，在前番生过的围墙上，又绕着院落再度生长。那锦绣的闺房、华丽的帷帐究竟有多深？我只能听到从房中传出丝竹悠扬。那曲调像载着欲说还休的重重心事，大概是担心乖违了佳期，还没有唱歌先已哽咽，连清酒也厌入愁肠。
注释：风流子：词牌名。原唐教坊曲名，后用为词调之称。又称为《内家娇》。有单调及双调两体。风流子，与菩萨蛮、念奴娇、如梦令等都是词牌名，主要流行于宋朝时期。著名的词人谢懋、张耒等都曾经以“风流子”作词牌名创作过词。新绿：指开春后新涨的绿水。金屋：美女住的地方。汉武帝幼时曾说：“若得阿娇，当以金屋储之。”土花：苔藓。莓墙：长满青苔的墙。绣阁：绣房。女子的居室装饰华丽如绣，故称。凤帏：闺中的帷帐。丝簧：指管弦乐器。乖：违误。错过。清觞：洁净的酒杯。
遥知新妆了，开朱户，应自待月西厢。最苦梦魂，今宵不到伊行。问甚时说与，佳音密耗，寄将秦镜，偷换韩香？天便教人，霎时厮见何妨。
译文：远远知道她梳理了新妆，推开了红窗，该是期待明月照西厢。最苦的是我咫尺天涯，梦中魂灵儿，今夜也不能到她身旁。问何时才能向她倾诉衷肠，互通情款，互订密约，寄予她明镜，偷换她的奇香。天公呵与人行个方便，叫人霎时间相见又有何妨!
注释：待月：元稹《会真记》莺莺与张生诗：“待月西厢下，迎风户半开。”不到伊行：不到她身边。行，那边，旁边。密耗：秘密消息。秦镜：汉代秦嘉妻徐淑赠其明镜。此处指情人送的物品。韩香：原指晋贾充之女贾午爱恋韩寿，以御赐西域奇香赠之。此处指情人的赠品。乐府诗云：“盘龙明镜饷秦嘉，辟恶生香寄韩寿。”

周邦彦（1056年－1121年），中国北宋末期著名的词人，字美成，号清真居士，汉族，钱塘（今浙江杭州）人。历官太学正、庐州教授、知溧水县等。徽宗时为徽猷阁待制，提举大晟府。精通音律，曾创作不少新词调。作品多写闺情、羁旅，也有咏物之作。格律谨严。语言典丽精雅。长调尤善铺叙。为后来格律派词人所宗。旧时词论称他为“词家之冠”。有《清真集》传世。
