玉人家，画楼珠箔临津。托微风、彩箫流怨，断肠马上曾闻。宴堂开、艳妆丛里，调琴思，认歌颦。麝蜡烟浓，玉莲漏短，更衣不待酒初醺。绣屏掩、枕鸳相就，香气渐暾暾。回廊影，疏钟淡月，几许消魂？
译文：美人之家，就在渡口边那挂着珠帘的画楼。箫声随轻风传送幽怨，断肠人在马上听得分明。在宴席上，在歌女丛中，从琴声和愁容一眼就把她相认。麝香蜡烛烟雾浓浓，漏声滴滴夜色已深，等不得酒醉就更衣。掩上锦绣屏风，便在鸳枕上相依相拥，屋子香气浓郁沁人。月光映出回廊暗影，几响钟声一弯淡月，这一夜多么欢乐销魂！
注释：玉人：容颜如玉的歌女，或指对钟爱女子的昵称。珠箔：即珠帘，装饰华美的帘子。津：渡口。琴思：琴曲中的情思。思，读去声。漏短：时间短暂。漏，计算时间的仪器。醺：喝醉。枕鸳：即鸳枕，绣有鸳鸯的枕头。暾暾：香味浓烈的意思。疏钟：夜深人静之时。
翠钗分。银笺封泪，舞鞋从此生尘。任兰舟载将离恨，转南浦，背西曛。记取明年，蔷薇谢后，佳期应未误行云。凤城远、楚梅香嫩，先寄一枝春。青门外，只凭芳草，寻访郎君。
译文：自分别后她封封书信泪斑斑，舞鞋从此落满灰尘。任随小舟漂泊，载着离愁别恨，从南江转到北浦，从早晨直到夕阳西沉。请记住在明年，蔷薇花凋谢之后，我们定期相会绝不耽误行程。京城很遥远，这楚地的梅花清秀鲜嫩，请你先寄一枝芳春。到那一天在青门外，顺着芳草路，去访寻郎君。
注释：翠钗：翠色的头钗，即碧玉钗。曛：日落时的余光。凤城：京城。传说秦穆公的女儿弄玉吹箫引来凤凰落在京城，称丹凤城。后来凤城就成为京城的代称。楚梅：楚地的梅花。青门：泛指京城城门。因汉代长安东南门是青色，俗称青门。郎君：作者自指。

贺铸(1052～1125) 北宋词人。字方回，号庆湖遗老。汉族，卫州（今河南卫辉）人。宋太祖贺皇后族孙，所娶亦宗室之女。自称远祖本居山阴，是唐贺知章后裔，以知章居庆湖（即镜湖），故自号庆湖遗老。
