梦冷蘅芜，却望姗姗，是耶非耶？怅兰膏渍粉，尚留犀合；金泥蹙绣，空掩蝉纱。影弱难持，缘深暂隔，只当离愁滞海涯。归来也，趁星前月底，魂在梨花。
译文：蘅芜香渐渐消散的烟气里，隐约看到你的身影，亦真亦幻。，梳妆盒里仍有你未用尽的胭脂，你的首饰与衣衫美丽依旧，看着这些我不禁怅惘良久。留不住你的身影，我们只能分别在两个世界，不，还是把我们的永诀当作远隔天涯海角的思念吧。梨花在星月清辉之下的秀美模样，仿如你魂魄归来。
注释：蘅芜：香草名。姗姗：形容女子步伐小，步履缓而从容。兰膏：一种用来滋润头发的发油。渍粉：残存的香粉。犀合：用犀牛角制成的小盒子，用来装小的饰物。金泥：用金屑来装饰的工艺品。蹙绣：即蹙金，一种绣花方式，用金线绣出皱缩成线纹的花，华丽而美观。蝉纱：即蝉翼纱，轻薄如蝉翼，故名。
鸾胶纵续琵琶。问可及、当年萼绿华。但无端摧折，恶经风浪；不如零落，判委尘沙。最忆相看，娇讹道字，手剪银灯自泼茶。令已矣，便帐中重见，那似伊家。
译文：即便我还可以续弦，但谁又及得上你？可恨命运无端将你从我身边夺去：我最常想起你陪我读书的时候，你为我亲剪灯花，和我赌赛书中的掌故，那是何等的欢乐。幸福一去不返，纵然我隔着纱帐看到你缥缈魂魄的影子，但那毕竟不是真实的！
注释：鸾胶：传说中的两海异胶，可以接续断掉的弓弦，后用来比喻续娶后妻。萼绿华：传说中的女仙，本名罗郁，自言为九嶷山中的得道女子，此处代指亡妻。判：请愿。

纳兰性德（1655－1685），满洲人，字容若，号楞伽山人，清代最著名词人之一。其诗词“纳兰词”在清代以至整个中国词坛上都享有很高的声誉，在中国文学史上也占有光采夺目的一席。他生活于满汉融合时期，其贵族家庭兴衰具有关联于王朝国事的典型性。虽侍从帝王，却向往经历平淡。特殊的生活环境背景，加之个人的超逸才华，使其诗词创作呈现出独特的个性和鲜明的艺术风格。流传至今的《木兰花令·拟古决绝词》——“人生若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇？等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。”富于意境，是其众多代表作之一。
