魏晋：陶渊明
虚舟纵逸棹，回复遂无穷。
译文：时光流逝如同飞舟，循环往复以至无穷。
注释：虚舟：空船，这里可解释为“轻舟”。逸：快疾、迅速的意思。棹：长的船桨，是划船的工具。
发岁始俯仰，星纪奄将中。
译文：刚过开年俯仰之间，忽然又到一年之中。
注释：发岁：开岁，一年之始。俯仰：形容时间短暂。俛，同“俯”。星纪：星次名，这里指癸丑年（413年）。古代星岁纪年法，把周天划为十二分次，每分次有一专名，星纪即其中之一。岁星运行一个分次，就是一年。奄：通“淹”，忽然的意思。将中：将到年中，指五月。
南窗罕悴物，北林荣且丰。
译文：南窗罕见憔悴枯木，北面树林一片繁荣。
注释：罕：罕见，稀少。悴：憔悴，这里是枯萎的意思，指干枯之物。荣且丰：繁荣茂盛。荣和丰，都有茂盛的意思。
神萍写时雨，晨色奏景风。
译文：雨神及时泻下甘雨，清晨吹拂祥和南风。
注释：神萍：雨师。一作“萍光”，一作“神渊”。写：同“泻”，倾注。奏：通“凑”，聚集。景风：古代指祥和之风。
既来孰不去？人理固有终。
译文：人既生来谁能不死？人生规律必然有终。
注释：来、去：喻指生、死。人理：人生的道理。
居常待其尽，曲肱岂伤冲。
译文：生活清贫等待命尽，弯臂作枕何妨道隆。
注释：居常待其尽：安于贫困，等待命终。曲肱：“曲肱而枕之”的省略，即弯曲胳膊作枕头。岂伤：哪里妨害。冲：虚，淡泊，指道的最高境界。
迁化或夷险，肆志无窊隆。
译文：时运变化有顺有险，纵心任性没有穷通。
注释：迁化：指时运的变化。夷：平坦。险：险阻。肆志：随心任性。肆，是放肆、放纵的意思。窊隆：谓地形洼下和隆起，引申为起伏，高下。窊，是低洼、低下；隆，是隆起、突出。
即事如已高，何必升华嵩。
译文：倘能遇事达观视之，何必攀登嵩华高峰。
注释：即事：就事，对眼前事物的认识。华嵩：华山和嵩山，传说为神仙所居之地。

陶渊明（约365年—427年），字元亮，（又一说名潜，字渊明）号五柳先生，私谥“靖节”，东晋末期南朝宋初期诗人、文学家、辞赋家、散文家。汉族，东晋浔阳柴桑人（今江西九江）。曾做过几年小官，后辞官回家，从此隐居，田园生活是陶渊明诗的主要题材，相关作品有《饮酒》、《归园田居》、《桃花源记》、《五柳先生传》、《归去来兮辞》等。
