炎精中否？叹人材委靡，都无英物。胡马长驱三犯阙，谁作长城坚壁？万国奔腾，两宫幽陷，此恨何时雪？草庐三顾，岂无高卧贤杰？
译文：宋朝的国势还是如日中天吗？可叹人材平庸，不见杰出的英雄。金兵长驱直入三困汴京，谁是保国的壁垒长城？天翻地复，二帝被虏，深仇大恨何时雪清。君王求贤三顾茅庐，民间自有隐居的豪英。
注释：精：太阳的别称，引申为国运。中否：是否处于正中。胡马：指金兵。阙：皇宫前面两边的门楼，代指京城。万国：天下、四面八方。两宫：指宋徽宗和宋钦宗，当时都被俘虏囚禁在北方。草庐三顾：指刘备三顾茅庐请诸葛亮出山。
天意眷我中兴，吾皇神武，踵曾孙周发。河海封疆俱效顺，狂虏何劳灰灭？翠羽南巡，叩阍无路，徒有冲冠发。孤忠耿耿，剑铓冷浸秋月。
译文：上天希骥大宋中兴，新皇神武英明，如周武王姬发一样贤明。海内边陲愿为朝廷效力，狂妄的金人很快就要灰飞烟灭无踪。高宗南渡驾兴临安，使人无处拜谒宫廷。空怀愤慨激昂，一腔孤忠，相伴只有秋月下闪着冷光的剑锋。
注释：踵：追逐、追随。曾孙周发：指周武王姬发，继承文王未竞之业，灭商兴周。翠羽：用翠鸟羽毛装饰的旗帜，指皇帝的仪仗。阍：宫门。剑铓：剑的尖锋。

黄中辅（1110—1187）字槐卿，晚号细高居士。是抗金名将宗泽的外甥。义乌县城东隅金山岭顶人。祖父景圭，金吾卫上将军，居浦阳（今浦江）。父琳，迁居义乌。黄中辅赤诚爱国，忠奸分明，祟尚气节，不为苟合。时秦桧柄国，诬害忠良，粉饰太平，不思北进，黄中辅于京师临安太平楼题句“快磨三尺剑，欲斩佞臣头”，为世人所重。
