一水西来，千丈晴虹，十里翠屏。喜草堂经岁，重来杜老，斜川好景，不负渊明。老鹤高飞，一枝投宿，长笑蜗牛戴屋行。平章了，待十分佳处，著个茅亭。
译文：一条溪水从西面来，晴空万里映射出千丈长虹，十里的青山像翠绿的屏风，迤逦蜿蜒。叫人喜欢的是：草堂经过一年的修建已经好了。我像杜甫二次来到草堂。这里的风光像斜川那么美丽，总算没有辜负热爱山水的陶渊明。我像老鹤高飞天空，有一条可以栖息的树枝就满足了。我长笑一些人像蜗牛似的戴着屋到处爬行。对期思这个地方的建筑，我都规划和评论过了，待我找一个十分美好的地方盖上小茅草亭子。
注释：经岁：一年后，此泛言若干年后。斜川：在今江西省都昌县，为风景优美之地。陶渊明居浔阳柴桑时，曾作《斜川诗》。不负：不辜负。蜗牛戴屋行：蜗牛是一种很小的软体动物，背有硬壳，呈螺旋形，似圆形之屋。爬动时如戴屋而行。平章：筹划，品评。着：此作建造讲。
青山意气峥嵘。似为我归来妩媚生。解频教花鸟，前歌後舞，更催云水，暮送朝迎。酒圣诗豪，可能无势，我乃而今驾驭卿。清溪上，被山灵却笑，白发归耕。
译文：挺拔险峻的青山，气势磅礴，一片生机，像是为了欢迎我回来，表现出妩媚可爱的姿态。为解除忧愁，调教花鸟在我的前后唱歌跳舞。更能催令云和水暮送朝迎我来这里游玩。我是喝酒的圣人，吟诗的豪杰，但不是官员，我可能已经失去了权势，但我告诉花、鸟、云、水，我仍然可以统率你们。我站在清清的溪水上面，却被山神看见了，它嘲笑我，说我的头发白了，已经是罢职回家种田的人了。
注释：峥嵘：高峻不凡貌。妩媚：此处形容青山秀丽。解：领会、理解。频：屡屡不断。酒圣诗豪：指酷爱诗酒的人。乃：却。驾驭：主宰，统率。卿：“你”的美称，此指大自然。山灵：山神。

辛弃疾（1140－1207），南宋词人。原字坦夫，改字幼安，别号稼轩，汉族，历城（今山东济南）人。出生时，中原已为金兵所占。21岁参加抗金义军，不久归南宋。历任湖北、江西、湖南、福建、浙东安抚使等职。一生力主抗金。曾上《美芹十论》与《九议》，条陈战守之策。其词抒写力图恢复国家统一的爱国热情，倾诉壮志难酬的悲愤，对当时执政者的屈辱求和颇多谴责；也有不少吟咏祖国河山的作品。题材广阔又善化用前人典故入词，风格沉雄豪迈又不乏细腻柔媚之处。由于辛弃疾的抗金主张与当政的主和派政见不合，后被弹劾落职，退隐江西带湖。
