宫馆余基辍棹过，黍苗无限独悲歌。
译文：宫馆余基倚棹过，黍苗无限独悲歌。行舟经过姑苏古城，舍舟登岸，凭吊古台，初登台基，放眼眺望，只见残砖败瓦间禾黍成行，断壁颓垣上蒿草丛生。
注释：宫馆余基倚(yǐ)棹(zhào)过，黍(shǔ)苗无限独悲歌。宫馆余基：指姑苏陈迹。倚棹过：言舍舟登岸，凭吊古台。黍苗：禾黍。
荒台麋鹿争新草，空苑岛凫占浅莎。
译文：争食新草的麋鹿和各据莎草、筑巢栖息的水鸟在四周栖息游荡。
吴岫雨来虚槛冷，楚江风急远帆多。
译文：山雨将至时，登台凭槛，一切都那么凄凉，楚江上面在风雨中的远帆更是让人心下情绪低落。
可怜国破忠臣死，日月东流生白波。
译文：吴越战争时候，忠臣伍子胥惨遭杀害，吴国也被灭国，真是令人唏嘘不已，急风吹帆的大江，在滔滔白波中向东而去，消失在天际。

许浑（约791～约858），字用晦（一作仲晦），唐代诗人，润州丹阳（今江苏丹阳）人。晚唐最具影响力的诗人之一，其一生不作古诗，专攻律体；题材以怀古、田园诗为佳，艺术则以偶对整密、诗律纯熟为特色。唯诗中多描写水、雨之景，后人拟之与诗圣杜甫齐名，并以“许浑千首诗，杜甫一生愁”评价之。成年后移家京口(今江苏镇江)丁卯涧，以丁卯名其诗集，后人因称“许丁卯”。许诗误入杜牧集者甚多。代表作有《咸阳城东楼》。
