唐代：王维
寥落云外山，迢遥舟中赏。
译文：远处稀疏冷落的山峦，在船里向远处观赏。
注释：宇文太守：此人不详。太守，官名，一郡之长官。秦时称郡守，自汉时称太守。赴：这里是赴任的意思。宣城：据《唐书·地理志》载：“江南西道有宣州宣城郡。”在今安徽省宣城县。寥落：稀少、冷落。迢遥：遥远。赏：欣赏。
铙吹发西江，秋空多清响。
译文：从长江上游出发的时候，军乐队奏乐送行，乐声晌彻整个秋空。
注释：铙吹：军乐队奏乐。铙，古代军中的乐器，象铃铛，有柄，但没有中间的锤。吹，管乐。秋空：秋季的天空。清响：清越的音响。
地迥古城芜，月明寒潮广。
译文：大地辽阔，古城长满了野草，天上的月亮很明亮，江中的寒潮很大。
注释：地迥：大地辽阔，辽远。芜：长满野革，荒芜。寒潮：带有寒意的潮水。广：大。
时赛敬亭神，复解罟师网。
译文：按时祭祀报答神明所降福泽，并且解渔网放生。
注释：赛神：旧时祭祀酬报神恩，这是一种迷信活动。敬亭：敬亭山，在宣城北，山上有庙，庙里的神叫梓华府君。解：解开。罟师：渔夫，打鱼的人。罟，捕鱼的网。
何处寄想思，南风吹五两。
译文：向哪里寄托相思之情呢？南风很大，船行驶得又很快。
注释：寄：寄托。吹五两：古代以风力足以鼓动起船帆为吹五两。五两，由鸡毛做成的重五两的觇测风力之物，系在船尾以候风。

王维（701年－761年，一说699年—761年），字摩诘，汉族，河东蒲州（今山西运城）人，祖籍山西祁县，唐朝诗人，有“诗佛”之称。苏轼评价其：“味摩诘之诗，诗中有画；观摩诘之画，画中有诗。”开元九年（721年）中进士，任太乐丞。王维是盛唐诗人的代表，今存诗400余首，重要诗作有《相思》《山居秋暝》等。王维精通佛学，受禅宗影响很大。佛教有一部《维摩诘经》，是王维名和字的由来。王维诗书画都很有名，非常多才多艺，音乐也很精通。与孟浩然合称“王孟”。
