露如微霰下前池，月过回塘万竹悲。
译文：秋露像细微的雪粒洒下前池，阵阵西风吹过回塘，万竹萧飒生悲。
注释：微霰：微细的雪粒。月：一作“风”。回塘：回曲的水池。
浮世本来多聚散，红蕖何事亦离披？
译文：瓢忽无定的人生啊，本来就多悲欢聚散；但那池上的红荷花，为什么也零落纷披？
注释：浮世：即浮生，指人间，人世。旧时认为人世间是浮沉聚散不定的，故称。红蕖：红荷花。蕖，芙蕖。离披：零落分散的样子。
悠扬归梦惟灯见，濩落生涯独酒知。
译文：我杳远难凭的归梦，只有孤灯才能见证；我空虚落寞的生涯，唯有清酒方可得知。
注释：悠扬：起伏不定；飘忽。归梦：归乡之梦。濩落：原谓廓落。引申谓沦落失意。
岂到白头长知尔，嵩阳松雪有心期。
译文：难道到了白头之年还是如此？我早与嵩山南面的松雪两心相期。
注释：白头：犹白发。形容年老。只尔：只是这样。嵩阳：嵩山之南。嵩山在河南登封，距离洛阳才百里。松雪：象征隐士的气节和品格。心期：心神交往，两相期许。

李商隐，字义山，号玉溪（谿）生、樊南生，唐代著名诗人，祖籍河内（今河南省焦作市）沁阳，出生于郑州荥阳。他擅长诗歌写作，骈文文学价值也很高，是晚唐最出色的诗人之一，和杜牧合称“小李杜”，与温庭筠合称为“温李”，因诗文与同时期的段成式、温庭筠风格相近，且三人都在家族里排行第十六，故并称为“三十六体”。其诗构思新奇，风格秾丽，尤其是一些爱情诗和无题诗写得缠绵悱恻，优美动人，广为传诵。但部分诗歌过于隐晦迷离，难于索解，至有“诗家总爱西昆好，独恨无人作郑笺”之说。因处于牛李党争的夹缝之中，一生很不得志。死后葬于家乡沁阳（今河南焦作市沁阳与博爱县交界之处）。作品收录为《李义山诗集》。
