行歌野哭两堪悲，远火低星渐向微。
译文：有人边行走边唱歌，有人在野外啼哭，两种声音都令我心中伤悲，远处的灯火夜空的疏星，渐渐地趋向暗淡低微。
注释：野宿：住宿在郊外。行歌：边行走边唱歌，借以抒发感情、表达意愿等。《晏子春秋·杂上十二》：“梁丘据左操瑟，右挈竽，行歌而出。”野哭：哭于郊外。微：暗淡低微。
病眼不眠非守岁，乡音无伴苦思归。
译文：病眼睡不着并非因着守岁，乡音无人为伴我苦苦地思归。
注释：守岁：除夕习俗，熬夜迎接农历新年的到来。乡音：家乡的口音。
重衾脚冷知霜重，新沐头轻感发稀。
译文：盖着几条被子双脚依旧冰冷，知道冬霜重满是寒气，刚洗过头发觉得轻松，却感知鬓发又已变稀。
注释：重衾：多条被子。沐：洗发。
多谢残灯不嫌客，孤舟一夜许相依。
译文：多谢残灯并不将人嫌弃，孤舟中整夜里许我相伴相依。
南来三见岁云徂，直恐终身走道途。
译文：来到江南见旧岁三度辞去，真怕终身要奔走在道路。
注释：岁云徂：谓年岁辞去。徂，往。
老去怕看新历日，退归拟学旧桃符。
译文：年纪老大怕看新的日历，辞官归乡准备学写旧的桃符。
注释：历日：这里指日历。桃符：相传东海度朔山有大桃树，其下有神荼、郁垒二神，能食百鬼。故俗于农历元旦，用桃木板画二神于其上，悬于门户，以驱鬼避邪。五代后蜀始于桃符板上书写联语，其后改书于纸。
烟花已作青春意，霜雪偏寻病客须。
译文：自然景物已表露春天的意味，我这病客的胡须偏被霜雪找寻。
注释：烟花：泛指春景。青春：春季。
但把穷愁博长健，不辞最后饮屠苏。
译文：纵使穷愁潦倒但愿赢得此身长健，不怕轮到我最后一个把屠苏酒饮。
注释：博：赢得。长健：身体健康。屠苏：酒名，也作“酴酥”、“屠酥”。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
