雨霁风光，春分天气，千花百卉争明媚。画梁新燕一双双，玉笼鹦鹉愁孤睡。
译文：春雨过后，天空放晴，春分天气，一派好风光。百花盛开，万紫千红，争奇斗艳。画梁之上，刚归来的燕子，出双入对。玉笼里的鹦鹉却在发愁自己孤独眠睡。
注释：踏莎行：词牌名，又名《喜朝天》、《柳长春》、《踏雪行》、《平阳兴》、《踏云行》、《潇潇雨》等。双调小令，五十八字，上下片各三仄韵。四言双起，例用对偶。雨霁：雨过天晴。春分：二十四节气之一。每年在公历3月20或21日。此日，太阳直射赤道，南北半球昼夜长短平分，故称。画梁：有彩绘装饰的屋梁。玉笼：玉饰的鸟笼。亦用为鸟笼的美称。
薜荔依墙，莓苔满地，青楼几处歌声丽。蓦然旧事上心来，无言敛皱眉山翠。
译文：薜荔香草爬上了墙面，莓苔绿藓铺满了地面，远处的青楼断断续续地传过来清丽的歌声。想起过去的事情不禁沉默无言，眉头紧皱，远山眉色变成了青绿。
注释：薜荔：常绿藤本植物。又称木莲。莓苔：青苔。青楼：妓院。眉山：形容女子秀丽的双眉。

欧阳修（1007－1072），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”。汉族，吉州永丰（今江西省永丰县）人，因吉州原属庐陵郡，以“庐陵欧阳修”自居。谥号文忠，世称欧阳文忠公。北宋政治家、文学家、史学家，与韩愈、柳宗元、王安石、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩合称“唐宋八大家”。后人又将其与韩愈、柳宗元和苏轼合称“千古文章四大家”。
