蜗角虚名，蝇头微利，算来著甚干忙。事皆前定，谁弱又谁强。且趁闲身未老，尽放我、些子疏狂。百年里，浑教是醉，三万六千场。
译文：微小的虚名薄利，有什么值得为之忙碌不停呢？名利得失之事自由因缘，得者未必强，失者未必弱。赶紧趁着闲散之身未老之时，抛开束缚，放纵自我，逍遥自在。即使只有一百年的时光，我也愿大醉它三万六千场。
思量。能几许，忧愁风雨，一半相妨，又何须，抵死说短论长。幸对清风皓月，苔茵展、云幕高张。江南好，千钟美酒，一曲满庭芳。
译文：沉思算来，一生中有一半日子是被忧愁风雨干扰。又有什么必要一天到晚说长说短呢？不如面对这清风皓月，以苍苔为褥席，以高云为帷帐，宁静地生活。江南的生活多好，一千钟美酒，一曲优雅的《满庭芳》。
注释：蜗角：蜗牛角。比喻极其微小。蝇头：本指小字，此取微小之义。些子：一点儿。浑：整个儿，全部。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
