雪晴天地一冰壶，竟往西湖探老逋，骑驴踏雪溪桥路。笑王维作画图，拣梅花多处提壶。对酒看花笑，无钱当剑沽，醉倒在西湖！
译文：雪后初霁，天地仿佛一个巨大的冰壶，一片皎洁晶莹。我前往西湖去看梅，骑着小驴踏着雪渡过溪上的小桥，嘲笑王维的《雪中骑驴图》与这境界相差太远。拣几处好的梅景，在那里提壶饮酒。对着壶中的美酒，看着眼前花如笑颜般的倒影——倘若无钱饮酒，自然可以典当自己的宝剑来换酒喝，尽可醉倒在这西湖！
注释：老逋：指北宋诗人林逋，因其爱梅，故此代指梅花。王维：唐代大诗人。提壶：倒酒。当剑：把佩剑典当掉。

元代文学家，生卒年及生平事迹均未详，《录鬼簿》及《录鬼簿续编》皆失载。青城（青城县有二，一在今山东，一在今四川，论者多以为杨朝英是）人。曾任郡守、郎中，后归隐。他最重要的贡献是选录元人散曲，辑为《乐府新编阳春白雪》、《朝野新声太平乐府》二集，人称“杨氏二选”。选辑认真，搜罗甚富，元人散曲多赖以传世，“二选”是研究元代散曲的重要资料。同时他也是一位散曲作家,作品存小令约27首,见于“二选”中。
