我家本南闽，处世若羁寓。
侍亲从宦游，东西迁者屡。
因循历年载，未识南中路。
间岁至都城，始与里儒遇。
尝闻闽中奇，英隽所丛聚。
山川降灵气，禀肖时魁梧。
往在祥符中，黄李称独步。
当时盛文物，在廷充振鹭。
二子簉其间，轩轩并镳驱。
得志何所如，康庄躍骐馵。
时文变新律，高辞无累句。
人传幼妇碑，朝奏客卿赋。
奇器擅珪璧，至音有韶濩。
当宁喜同时，士林争景附。
渊澄或无鱼，木秀乃生蠹。
嗟哉士之贤，入朝尝见恶。
叔才亦稍迁，秘书观四库。
命穷时不偶，伶仃独翁孺。
名虽鼎甲贵，官止尘劳污。
蹉跎三十年，困踬卒颠仆。
伊予生后时，举颈徒企慕。
郑子乃其甥，肖貌何颖悟。
读书博而详，伟词亦能铸。
朅来至京国，首与予款晤。
吾尝念古昔，人贤犹爱树。
况遇贤之出，何必缘雅素。
从游遂无间，往来靡常度。
近遭试秋官，报罢不知故。
飘飘叹穷途，归橐不能具。
当路少知己，腹心谁可布。
我嗟近世人，龊龊何足数。
见善不能举，徒然用烋噢。
士有处忧困，岂尝一蒙顾。
劝君自求己，何用频龃龉。
还家乐诗书，养心益坚固。
无因一伤手，乃欲改前措。
泽豹未成文，尚能隐深雾。
齐禽戢其翼，久亦蒙傅羽。
况子气方刚，丁辰年未暮。
勉勉信予言，勤勤蹈前趣。
更想渭阳贤，怀道当有遻。
王忱希范宁，羊昙宗谢傅。
武子称卫玠，逢时乃腾骛。
深源赏康伯，传经有训註。
子其慕斯人，戒哉惇向素。
还来取高第，擢俊膺帝吁。

（1020—1101）泉州同安人，徙居丹阳，字子容。苏绅子。仁宗庆历二年进士。知江宁。皇祐五年召试馆阁校勘，同知太常礼院。迁集贤校理，编定书籍。英宗即位，为度支判官。神宗立，擢知制诰，知审刑院，因奏李定拜官不合章法，落知制诰，出知婺州。元丰初，权知开封府，改沧州。奉旨编纂《鲁卫信录》。哲宗元祐初，除吏部尚书兼侍读，以邃于律历提举研制新浑仪。元祐七年拜右仆射兼中书侍郎，为相务使百官守法遵职，量能授任。后罢知扬州，徙河南。绍圣末致仕。有《苏魏公集》、《新仪象法要》、《本草图经》。
