天下岂无宝，此宝常旷乏。
浑然肖天质，不与璆璠杂。
万产蓄精粹，百灵常护押。
天王得而兴，人事留岂盍。
问将安所施，邦国凭镇压。
问谁能为售，靡物可酬答。
孰嗟道不行，将以补千衲。
孰忧大厦摧，用以支众庘。
在昔夏及周，相继登天榻。
搜索罄寰瀛，异物悉归狎。
万玉会诸涂，九鼎安於郏。
人神为交欢，海岳在呼欱。
无远不奔趋，无强不折拉。
区区霸者君，犹能救收扱。
譬夫至音奏，所听才鞺鞳。
晋强由一战，齐盛成九合。
小邦愿输币，邻境求盟歃。
至宝既见用，光价日以洽。
岂若秦与赵，争璧相蹂踏。
其下数十代，交攻事矛甲。
用舍亦异道，盛衰势相沓。
得之权纲震，失之基本塌。
吾君系皇统，威棱海隅匝。
大器固神扃，众奇萃缇匣。
山瑰及海灵，尽获诸罗罨。
拣金碛砾中，或不间砂鑞。
求珠渊泉底，或见取{外广里上卑下两虫}蛤。
珉石尚珍藏，理宁斥珪玾。
其间偶弃遗，诚堪为嗟{左甲右欠}。
或是选择殊，非由道路狭。
渊哉二君言，相投予意恰，

（1020—1101）泉州同安人，徙居丹阳，字子容。苏绅子。仁宗庆历二年进士。知江宁。皇祐五年召试馆阁校勘，同知太常礼院。迁集贤校理，编定书籍。英宗即位，为度支判官。神宗立，擢知制诰，知审刑院，因奏李定拜官不合章法，落知制诰，出知婺州。元丰初，权知开封府，改沧州。奉旨编纂《鲁卫信录》。哲宗元祐初，除吏部尚书兼侍读，以邃于律历提举研制新浑仪。元祐七年拜右仆射兼中书侍郎，为相务使百官守法遵职，量能授任。后罢知扬州，徙河南。绍圣末致仕。有《苏魏公集》、《新仪象法要》、《本草图经》。
