知君莫如我，送君难为别。岂无阳关情，未语喉先咽。
念我发云短，持筹担莫辍。物力值寒俭，欲舞肘已掣。
天幸假我公，埙篪如夙结。夷险与同舟，浅深共厉揭。

法曜忽南移，帝简在名杰。旧都繁华地，雅镇惟素节。

毕自严，（一作曰岩）字景会（一作景曾），淄川人(今淄博市周村区王村镇万家村）。天启、崇祯年间任户部尚书，掌管全国财政。在财源枯竭、入不敷出的情况下，毕自严精心协调、精打细算，支撑明朝财政近10年，功在社稷。毕自严万历二十年弱冠时进士及第，授松江推官。他年少有大才，尤善于综理复杂的经济事务。先后任刑部主事、工部员外郎、淮徐道参议、河东副使、洮岷兵备参议、陕西右布政使，泰昌元年升为太仆寺卿，跻身九卿之列。
