月映林塘静，风含笑语凉。
译文：月光映照着清幽的树林池塘，凉爽的风里夹杂着欢声笑语。
注释：幽：幽静。风含：和风携带着、混合着。
俯窥怜绿净，小立伫幽香。
译文：弯下腰窥看青绿明净的池水，在幽香之中稍稍伫立一会儿。
注释：窥：视，看。怜：爱。绿：指水色。绿净：指水。伫：站着等待。幽香：幽处花香。
携幼寻新菂，扶衰坐野航。
译文：拉上小孩子寻找新开的菊花，搀扶着老人在野外泛舟游玩。
注释：菂：莲子。扶衰：支撑着衰老的身体。野航：停泊郊外的船只。
延缘久未已，岁晚惜流光。
译文：我久久地流连不已，这已是一年的末尾，让人愈发珍惜流逝的光阴啊。
注释：延缘：徘徊流连。已：止。岁晚：一年之晚。这里指晚秋。流光：流逝的光阴。

王安石（1021年12月18日－1086年5月21日），字介甫，号半山，谥文，封荆国公。世人又称王荆公。汉族，北宋抚州临川人（今江西省抚州市临川区邓家巷人），中国北宋著名政治家、思想家、文学家、改革家，唐宋八大家之一。欧阳修称赞王安石：“翰林风月三千首，吏部文章二百年。老去自怜心尚在，后来谁与子争先。”传世文集有《王临川集》、《临川集拾遗》等。其诗文各体兼擅，词虽不多，但亦擅长，且有名作《桂枝香》等。而王荆公最得世人哄传之诗句莫过于《泊船瓜洲》中的“春风又绿江南岸，明月何时照我还。”
