谪居履在陈，从者有温见。
译文：谪居龙场呵遇到孔子在陈绝粮般的困境，我的随从们都有不满的表现。
注释：在陈：语出《论语》“在陈绝粮”，后人以“在陈”作为绝粮的代称。温见：温，不满、愤怒的样子。见，同现。意思是表现出不满。
山荒聊可田，钱镈还易办。
译文：好在这到处的荒坡亦可开荒垦田，农具也还容易筹办。
注释：钱镈：古时的农具。
夷俗多火耕，仿习亦颇便。
译文：当地的农人多是刀耕火种，学习模仿也很方便。
及兹春未深，数亩犹足佃。
译文：趁现在春天还没有过去，赶快种好这几亩田。
岂徒实口腹，且以理荒宴。
译文：难道仅仅是为吃口饱饭，待丰收了还要用它请客设宴。
遗穗及乌雀，贫寡发余羡。
译文：收割遗下的颗粒就留给乌雀吧，多余下来的粮食散发给穷困人家。
注释：发余羡：发，散发。余羡，多余的，富足的。
出耒在明晨，山寒易霜霰。
译文：明天早晨就的带着农具去垦荒，山间寒冷易结冰霜莫误了时光。
注释：霰：雪珠。如白居易《秦中呤》“夜深烟火灭，霰雪落纷纷”。

王守仁（1472年10月31日－1529年1月9日），汉族，幼名云，字伯安，号阳明，封新建伯，谥文成，人称王阳明。明代最著名的思想家、文学家、哲学家和军事家。王阳明不仅是宋明心学的集大成者，一生事功也是赫赫有名，故称之为“真三不朽”其学术思想在中国、日本、朝鲜半岛以及东南亚国家乃至全球都有重要而深远的影响，因此，王守仁（心学集大成者）和孔子（儒学创始人）、孟子（儒学集大成者）、朱熹（理学集大成者）并称为孔、孟、朱、王。
